  • Sir Basil, the original 'Al Di La' was recorded in 1961 by Luciano Tajoli it won Gold in San Remo Song festival...Pericoli recorded two years later in 1963 for the film 'Rome Adventure...although Pericoli did a commendable job it was nowhere near the rendition by Tajoli See my uploads for original Luciano Tajoli version plus rare unreleaed recording by Andrea Boceli.'Best Italian Song Ever'
