no jon faddis was too young, this is dizzy gillespies tune. John Faddis played in the 1970s with Dizzy but this is 1943-44.
this is the beebop era and dizzy was one of the five founders of the genre.
Jon faddis emulates Dizzy a lot he likes the high octave notes.
