I just bought Dr Bonner's castile soap the other day because everyone kept raving about it, and now I'm trying to find an excellent organic lotion to go with it.

Also, not sure if you know this or not, but you can scrub under your arms with baking soda (which absorbs odors) and just use regular corn starch (baby powder) under your arms for deodorant. It naturally absorbs moisture/sweat and keeps me fresh all day.

I love Jason Natural. I've been their products for over 4 years. Typically a shampoo and conditioner will (even some organic ones) stop working for my hair after a few months. Jason's don't. My fave is their super shine conditioner, which I'll leave on my a few minutes. I colour my hair (I know they also have a special line for colour treated hair, but I haven't tried that yet) and my hair is way softer than all my friends.

iv been wanting to try the Avalon Organics, Vitamin C Balancing Facial Toner.. would you use it?? it does have benzyl alcohol and salicylic acid so its drying right?

i would only use that if u have a bit of an acne problem thats typically what that acid stuff is used for, drying the skin :) alcohol isnt always bad because sometimes it will evaporate but i dont think that is a product i would use, hope that helps

@makeupbyquintero I use the AO facial toner and i do have some acne and it makes my skin feel clean and tight. but it does dry the skin out, i solve the dryness by putting on a moisterizer on

If anyone out there has very thick hair I'd definitely recommend the Jason aloe vera shampoo. It helped a lot to smooth out my hair and stop it poofing out into a triangle. Very affordable too, always a plus!

Also, aveeno makes a really good lotion. Just the basic "Daily Moisturizing" lotion works fine for me. It isn't organic or all natural, but it doesn't have fragrances or colors, so it's pretty gentle for the skin. I love it. Especially in the winter, because my skin just gets sooooo dry...so this lotion is my savior. XD

I haven't tried their conditioners.. I didn't like the smell of jasons cream i only use the vit. e one. I did NOT like the deodorant it didnt work at all for me :) I would just use pure aloe vera if u have any irritation problems not the aloe cream :) hope that helps

I'm an avid organic buyer... I buy ALL my shampoos/conditioners, soaps, toothpaste, lotions, cleansers, and other hygenic products at the organic store. I live in France, so, a lot of these brands aren't available to me locally, but I'm sure I can find some of them online.

I'm always on the lookout for lotions for scars. Thanks again for all the reviews!

i believe it's all organic. some ingredients cant be organic so those arent but the ingredients that can be are. if that makes sense

Great review..I'm sorry about your accident, I was in a very serious car accident when I was 18 & unfortuantley it wasn't my last but it was definately the worst, I also have scars from the accident quite a few on my face but thankfully they have faded over the years.

avalon organics shampoo is an okay shampoo I don't particularly care for it some people are sensitive to rosemary and other herbs so be sure to keep that in mind when buying. They smell really great. What makes a product organic is the ingredients, if it is organic 100 percent it will tell you that. These shampoos are sodium lauryl free which is great and also paraben free which helps prevent build up on the hair. When switching to organic shampoo just know it has a diff type of lather or less

Lush cosmetics are not always organic, they do contain some products that are synthetic but area very good!

You can find a lot of natural deoderants at drug store/grocery stores, if not, try a health food store!
