  • I'm a psychobilly graff writer an I dig this shit I remember it from the late ninties just wut there sayin is cool listen to the lyrics cool shit man

  • throwwwwwwwwwwwback!

  • Haters? This jam was ground breaking so shut ya mouths.

  • @TheWilly2fly "Hater" is an utterance invented and used only by radio rap and its benighted followers. It is used to preserve one's own ignorance; it is no more than a label to pin on someone whose arguments outdo yours in every respect. Do not use this word, for it only renders you incompetent and ignorant. Do not use this word, for it is EVIL.

  • @jmarrvin this is the most pretentious made up etymology of a slang word I've ever read. congratulations!

  • @TH89 well, it's only used by people who have no good reason to support their point with. Essentially, it's admitting defeat. The word itself is even more pretentious than my made-up etymology, and we can both agree it's very pretentious.

  • @jmarrvin Anyone who achieves any measure of success will encounter a minority of people who have nothing but shitty stuff to say about them. It's such an inevitability that dwelling on those people is useless. That's what "hater" connotes.

  • @TH89 Yeah, but even "haters" have SOMETHING they don't like about a particular artist. I've never met anyone (anyone who isn't a troll, that is) who dislikes something for no reason at all. If there is such a person, then they aren't haters, they're mentally retarded. If this is the case, then they shouldn't be held in disregard and contempt, they should be given gentle treatment and help.

  • @jmarrvin DAMN son, you hit it on the button.

  • @jmarrvin Word Up!!!

  • @jmarrvin Nah, people who use it are doing a service- letting others know that they don't need to intervene if someone who says it is in some sort of distress. "But--I gonna get curb-stomped for trying to talk slick..."

"That's cool. Enjoy the wired jaw...HATER." Delicious.

  • @jmarrvin Copy and paste ur comment to every weak bullshit record not just hip hop or rap but every genre u spoke the truth friend nuff love from london england

  • Over a quarter million people have viewed emcing perfection

    INDEPENDENT AS FUCK!!!

  • i will never, ever stop loving this song.

  • They probably shot most of the video in the MTA Transit Museum. That said, it was probably a closed set which means they had to rent the space. That said, I'm surprised the MTA let them do this since the song is about grafitti/graphing/bombing, and where was/is that most commonly done? On the trains. Not complaining, just saying. I think it's brilliant that they got away with it, though they probably didn't tell the MTA what the song or video was about. :]

  • /watch?v=R0-Qu9ZnNbc

  • Real shit. Its crazy BET Rap City used to play some decent shit back in the day. You can kiss those days good bye!!! lol

  • How the f did they get such super duper access to the subway?

  • I read an interview with EL-P where he was talking about making beats that don't seem to make sense musically at first, and it's only as it evolves that you start to see the bigger picture. I really get what he meant when I watch this, at first it's just this crazy underground beat, but maybe 2/3rd's of the way through it's like a lightbulb goes off. This is an under appreciated classic, and one of the greatest hip-hop videos ever directed.

  • I dont think people know how dark and insane this beat is.

  • WHAT! WHAT!

  • lyrics are still perplexing!

  • i love this song so mutch!!!

  • this is def one of the most incredible fucking beats ever. so many distinct sounds and they all jam together so hard

  • Whatev...doesn't matter what the hell you wear. It's all about acknowledging and respecting the elements that make up the culture.

When the culture first came on to the scene there were hip hoppers wearing some crazy ass shit....It wasn't just Pumas and Kangols. So wear what you feel like wearing, and know your freakin' Roots!

  • @MrTIRANIUS It wasnt 97, they didnt even release this until june of '98 and the video came out a few months afterward.

  • @MrTIRANIUS MTV? I doubt it. You must be thinking of BET. I was 18 in 97 and was all into music, the chances of Company Flow being on MTV are well basically zero.

  • @druha10304 listen....ima say something but really them people who stay saying tight jeans like you are very fucking ignorant cause i wear skinny's and i rap mad nasty i listen to real hip-hop i love all "REAL ELEMENTS" of hip-hop i hate dumb ass dances and everything and i draw and i do graffiti and sick at 2D style and i do 3D style and nasty at both aight word is bond people need to come together whether skinny or baggy jeans and crush this FAKE ass music cause both are wearin baggy n skinny

  • @druha10304

this is offically the best comment ever on you tube.

  • @mrgerbiksuncle agreed

  • @druha10304 I laughed man but what you said doesn't sit right with me. Why are clothes so important? Judging people by their appearance rather than the music they make is exactly how the music industry marginalised real hip-hop culture and sent it back to the underground. Who gives a fuck what clothes a person wears, what matters is the music they make.

  • ill video
