Some don't like grip safeties but I kind of like them on the XD/XDM line of pistols. It's just another level of safety and honestly....we've been using them on M1911's for about 100 years without any problems.

I like a pistol light because bad things sometimes happen at night. One thing to remember is some pistols (rarely) will malfunction once in a while when a light is put on it. It's rare but it's definately worth testing it with the light on at the range.

FYI a tactical scrubber is critical piece of field gear, and should be in you 72 hour bag. Since you don't know, it's technical name is Portable Tactical Foreskin Cleaning Device or PTFCD mil parts # 789d8sjb3bfciaus3

you can usually get a used one for under $5.00. Hope that helps. OORAH!

Good vid. I got mine with a stainless steel slide. Love my xd9. Prettier then a glock and just as simple. But more comfortable and easy to conceal. Great choice. Gotten me out of enough sticky situations. Very accurate for its size. tested it against a glock 19 and xd9 did just as good if not grouped better then the glock.

i got the same gun, i hate the stock holster but it did its job (i guess). i have a couple holsters for it but i really like the smartcarry holster. it lets me forget that i have it on including the extra mag packed in. great gun

Bought this gun for myself for a concealed carry, this gun is extremely reliable and very very accurate for a subcompact. Although I recommend you get rid of the white dot sights, and fork out the extra 80-90 bucks for the Trijicon night sights if possible.

Last time I needed a tactical brush I was camping and was about to make out with this hot chick and I hand some bad breath. So I manned up and brushed my teeth with the tactical wire brush. Needless to say we didn't make out, nor did she sleep in my tent.

Well, all I can tell you is that you do get what you pay for - but you have to keep in mind what you want from it. If its just sitting around the house so that you can mount a camera for a table top, I would suggest a cheap-o-matic from WalMart will work just fine. Once you get into the field, and you actually have to carry it around, and perhaps use a variety of cameras with one, perhaps on uneven terrain... well, then the better ones are worth every penny. But hey, money is tight...
