@brianyoou airspace not congested like an LA freeway? you'd be surprised... relatively speaking. mid-air collisions happen very often because planes fly in pre-determined / popular routes, and there are tons of blind spots (cars are always next to you, but planes can be above or below you at the same time). also, most planes are white, and they camouflage very well with the buildings and white rooftops below them.

The video quality is poor, but I think it could very well be people. The SR20 is a plastic plane.... when composites fail, they rupture and crack like an egg and occupants very well could be ejected.
