  • Hi i'm running 5.6.1 and the only problem i'm running into here is that the actual knobs won't separate from each other on the panel and I can't find a lock/unlock option anywhere. Can anybody help me? Please message me.

  • Reaktor opens completely empty so how can I delete an instrument? Makes no sense to me

  • I dont have the option to "lock panel" as suggested at 6:25

  • NI plugs = Native Instruments plugins. Native Instruments make Reaktor (commonly used as a plugin within other host software, such as Cubase) as seen in this video, as well as Guitar Rig, Kontakt, B4, FM8, Massive, and others. :)

  • what's more worthless than a tutorial on sound design, and not have sound?

  • Can you save the synth an use it independently from reaktor?

  • learn how to talk , sound helps sound design

  • Being running logic on its own for 6 months now but ive gained a good understanding of synthesis think im ready for the KOMPLETE 6 nw cant fuckin wait its not worth stealing at such a cheap price, (basically £1000 of software for £400)

  • Jesus, is that what Komplete costs?!

It's funny how the best software (NI plugs, REAPER...) turn out to be the cheapest.

  • @henrebotha what are NI plugs?

  • nice tutorial, at least for now :p .. going to part 2 ;)

  • Why i don't have the "new empty" instrument option ?? did i miss something on the installation

  • According to the NI Forum, the pirated version lacks some features. If yours is warez, just buy it and it's ok.

If yours is legitimate, then there's something strange. Maybe you should ring their support.

  • that's right.

in the warez version there is no ewpty instruments.

plus, around 100 plugins (saturation, waveshapers, wavetable, analog filters, autopan, emulations of juno 106, RE 201, kaos pad, SH 101, TR909 ...) are missing.

there is thousands plugins and synth online

But NI company is smart, it's a soft wich plugins and synths are only available on the site.

  • I have an M-Audio Axiom 49 midi controller. How to do i set this up to control reaktor 5?

  • I have the M-Audio 88pro and I configure the controllers with "Midi learn". Right click on the knob or fader or whatever, select midi-learn, move the controller you want to use and thats it.

  • ok i got a synth that came wif it,how do i record what i play on that synth?????????????????/

  • view>recorderbox

  • A DAW, reaper, logic, cubase, pro tools, fruity loops etc. The list goes on.

  • REAPER for life, man.

  • thx, but it would be a lot more useful learning how to use an audio app if there was audio included with these tutorials

  • You can't get it for free, because it's not free. It costs money. "Getting it for free" = "stealing".

  • Stealing removes the original, piracy makes a copy.

    Fuckwit.

  • :D haha, busted. Yes, you're right, and I completely agree with you - I was simply trying to drive the point home that "getting it for free" is illegal and possibly immoral.

  • @BioQuarkz You can steal ideas without 'removing the original'. Piracy is stealing.

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • Hey, thnx a bunch for the tutorial. It would be helpfull though, if you'd put the text and the movie on the same screen. Now I'm doing what the text says, and then waiting through a movie of you doing it afterwards :P

  • Yes, I wanted to make the video in the way you describe. It's really annoying with those title screens. But I had no idea how to insert subtitles with Windows Movie Maker. Maybe I just have to take a closer look. I will try to manage it in the next tutorial series.

  • @Binosisus u can do that in youtube
