Stop radioactivity, a call for a minimalist approach on life. A global community in-tune with the natural process of our planet.
There were a lot of experimental synth musicians pioneers in the 70s, but only Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream and a few more became the pure electronic music something massive, succesfull and worldwide spread.
Kraftwerk-the pioneers. They laid the groundwork for many, many techno and rap acts that followed. Their music has been sampled and emulated by too many groups to list. Without Kraftwerk their would be no Depeche Mode, New Order, Daft Punk, and the list goes on and on. Actually, I like this version better than the original; it has more rhythm and is more danceable.
@dudsdark the style wasn't exactly develloped far enough to be called techno, it was simply dubbed electro at the time.... and yes, i know KW is still far better the club crap you hear, nowadays. still, it's oldschool electro, hell... it could be even be dubbed retrotronic, but not techno.

There were a lot of experimental synth musicians pioneers in the 70s, but only Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream and a few more became the pure electronic music something massive, succesfull and worldwide spread.

Kraftwerk-the pioneers. They laid the groundwork for many, many techno and rap acts that followed. Their music has been sampled and emulated by too many groups to list. Without Kraftwerk their would be no Depeche Mode, New Order, Daft Punk, and the list goes on and on. Actually, I like this version better than the original; it has more rhythm and is more danceable.

@dudsdark the style wasn't exactly develloped far enough to be called techno, it was simply dubbed electro at the time.... and yes, i know KW is still far better the club crap you hear, nowadays. still, it's oldschool electro, hell... it could be even be dubbed retrotronic, but not techno.
