  • that is a snake head dont let it go u can eat it it is a delaciy in china and asia

  • how??? whats bad about them?

  • They are an invasive species in America and kill rare native fish. I like them though.

  • @NexusBeing they arent rare i can catch them in my local lake

  • if you can catch them in ur local lake u should at least let the DNR know about it...

I know what the spotted gar is and the peacock bass is. But that one fish with the long and wide black line down each side looks like a snakehead to me. Not sure cant tell if it is or not Ive never seen a snakehead in person before.

  • ur mystery fish on the right at 27 is a florida longnose gar, quite common pets until they get too big, people either eat them or let them go in a near by pond :/ poor things

  • the gar looks like it is either cuban or an alligator gar

  • its cool looking tho.

  • If the unknown "gar" is at 0:47, it is a snakehead.

  • actually i think hes talking about the one at 39 seconds, its a gar..but an albino of some sorts i think. You can see the other 2 spotted and single alligator as well as the 4th unknowen.

  • meant 29

  • Oh, now I see. I'm no gar expert, so I have no clue.

  • Yup, positively a snakehead... My favorite fish to fish... heheheheh... Come to Malaysian lake and they can grow up 20kg or 50pound... this fish are amazingly robust and strong... but once on the land, their not that tough... but will bite a finger or should i say a hand... hahahaha... Cool aquarium...

  • Haha, I've never seen one or caught one myself. I have talked to a few people who have and they say they fight like there is no tomorrow!

  • giant snakehead?

  • thats so fucking cool bigg ass fish lol

  • fucking hell if u fell in that pool ud get the shit bitten out of ya

  • freshwater sharks!!!

  • 46 was most difenitly a snakehead

  • at 0:46 is that a snakehead? I had one that was that blue color and a red and yellow striped one. what is the scientific name???

  • I wonder what would happen if you put a dog in there...

  • add more water

  • :27 In My experiance: I would say that that is a female "Tiger Gar" , i don't know if that is the name everywere, i.e dogfish over dogfish sharks, or dogfish bowfin. Either way im sure it is what we call a "Tiger gar", female bc the males are a bit darker but just as slender like near the end b4 the tail. IMO TIGER GAR is your winning answer.

  • thats a nice peakcock bass you got there i have some 4 to 8 inches stripers in my pond and they eat like crazy

  • oww nice fishies

  • You might want to add more water to that dry ass pond, you cheap bastid.

  • hahaha

  • :14 is a giant snakehead

  • lol looks like an inground pool or hottub wouldnt want to sit in there lol

  • dousche water??? hahaha!

  • they are in parts of florida

  • :14 I think is a sturgeon, and I'm not sure are bout the other one

  • no its definitely not a sturgeon.

  • i feel so immature to ask but whats the fish at :14 and :50

  • i think thats a longnose gar

  • @0:29 there is an albino colored alligator gar not a snake head... none of the snakeheads in this video look albino in color.

  • dude where did u get that albino gar? i only have an alli gar. lol lucky D:

  • do you ever swim in this pool during your spare time?

  • i HATE snakeheads glad there not in florida yet :)

  • yes they are my friend caught one in our backyard a few days ago

  • channa micropeltes is a snakehead dumbass

  • how big is that pond? what is it made of and how much did it cost? im thinkin of doin' something like that. later

  • I see you have a snakehead... that's not an unknown gar, thats a snakehead

  • you got alot of Gars

  • Ey mate u are lucky i think youve got a alibino gator there VERY UNCOMMON! hehe i want that gar:P

  • Erm srry i ment Albino Gar:P

  • i like the pond but what about a couple of gouramis in there like a red tail, albino or even a banded one there cool fish but they are moody sometimes

  • danoski0210, The first fish you see is an "Arapaima Gigas" all be it a small one, they can reach a legnth of 4-6 meters.

  • amazing!

  • How about an arowana or a red pacu or a redcat fish

  • im not interested in pacu nor arowana for pond fish..they're much better in tank...im still looking for a good sized redtail catfish if that's what u mean so it can get along with others..otherwise she'll be the next meal on the list..

  • I'd rather get a black pacu than a red pacu

  • I don't see any arapaima there.

  • i was thinking of getting one but i figure out that when it reached its adult size, it'll fill up almost the whole pond..wouldn risk it..

  • That is pretty cool, like the friggen tank of death... wouldn't put my finger in there... lol

  • how much did it cost to make? im gonna need a pond for my gator gar. how do you prevent it from freezing in winter?

  • the internet sells de-icers and heaters especially made for cold areas.

  • longnose?

  • its channa micropeltes

they're good mates..but they will never allow anything, even fishes of their kind and size, to get into the pond..coz i just added 2 more gator gar 2 weeks ago and they're about 50cm..i found them beaten to death last week.

  • what is your pond...? an old bath tub? i can't see what it is... is it in the house?

  • Guys i want to SEE A Big ass Gar V.S. a Snakehead someone needs to put that together but this guy has a nice collection.

  • This fish has a nice taste, it´s the typical dish in Tabasco, México.

  • The fish'habitat is in Tabasco and campeche in México, and it´s called Pegelagarto.

    It´s mind Fishalligator

  • Seems to me you like to collect all the big bad freshwater fish. Any thoughts of tossing in a musky or black rohm?

  • couldnt find any of them here..i wish i could have em all..im considering arapaima to be a great addition to the pond. but still savin up for it.thx for the suggestion though.

  • ive caught many alligator gar in ontario

  • I thought snakeheads were illegal now, I had to get rid of my two.

  • longnose gar??

  • tell me what's the name...i believe no gar is locally from australia..if it is...i would go searching for it here in melbourne...thanks..

  • howd u do that?

  • do what?

  • How do you keep the pond from freezing in winter and from over-heating in summer

  • there is a allogator gar spotted (florida)gar peacock bass a red deivil a whatchumacalit and a snakehead fish the watchumacalit is a long nosed gar.
