That movie certainly looks lame (from an artistic perspective, but it also looks pretty one-dimensional politically). But RT's report is just as nauseating. "They haven't learned anything either" This is like a Fox News segment, an opinion piece masquerading as a news story. The film seems to take Georgia's side in the war, so "of course" its production is a PR plot by Saakashvili. She ends by saying that war is really death and destruction..which seems to be what the movie is about

The fact is Georgia did attack South Ossetia first. This is after Georgia had increased their military spending by an incredible amount. South Ossetia has been operating as an independent region within Georgia since around the fall of the Soviet Union. South Ossetians also do not speak Georgian they have their own language and Russian. It is unfair for Saakashvilli to force them to submit to not only losing their autonomy but their language as well. That is why Russia intervened.

1) For more than 35 years Russia didn't cut supply for political reasons. Oppositely, the Georgia cut gas supply to S.Ossetia during a year in 2008.
2) The problems began ONLY when US puppet UShenko was installed in Ukraine by "color revolution" in 2004 (like Sukashvili in Georgia, 2003)
3) EU observers and observers from swiss company SGS officially DOCUMENTED that Ukraine blocked transit.

And you realize that if Russia did nothing to protect S. Osetians, which are their brothers, it would have lost any respect from Caucasus ethnicities. That would have led to many new separatist or other conflicts.
