Honestly, I started out with a Champion Sidewinder and I love it. I have one that's really beat up so I just bought a new one and love it. It flies the way I'd expect it to fly and it's a monster when I flick. I use my old Champion SW when I have to get through a lot of trees and don't want to beat up my new SW. The only downside I have with my SW is when I need to throw an extremely technical straight and then curve left. So I just bought an Orc yesterday and will try that one out.
@UniBrowser First tip is don't listen to this guy. Start off throwing putters and mids b/c beginners don't have the arm for drivers usually, and learning to throw putters will translate once you have the arm. As far as which disc, it's all a matter of preference, off the tee pad I like DX Classic Aviars, Pro Rhyno's, and KC Pro Aviars. Roc's are definitely worth investing in, go for Pro Plastic. And if you insist on a driver, try a Leopard. No chalk.
@UniBrowser ull wanna start off with a really understable disc like leopard or eagle those are nice fairway drivers. and i would get the dx plastic only because their cheaper and the more understable the better for beginners. and it takes a lot to get "sponsored" ull need to become a pro first. and fuck chalk, i been playin my whole life with out it and doin just fine
fresh your a idiot....lol star plastic is actually harder because they are not begginnger discs...this guy is a complete tool..but he is right about most of the stuff he has said...if your so smart i would brush up on your disc golf skills bud..
nope. it's the most durable along with champion but it's not the highest grade. highest grade consists of grip and durability which would be the ESP, FLX, Star plastics
sure do

Shut up, I"m trying to learn.
TRY HELPING INSTEAD OF YELLING!!
Well, I'm not getting Star plastic if it's that hard. What disc is easiest and will get me top scores right away ?
I'd like to get sponsored. Do most disc golf bags carry Star Plastics as well as Champion?
Do you chalk your hands before you throw?

freshfish3232 2 years ago
Well he was right about some stuff, but the stability of a disc has nothing to do with the plastic
DrFunk420 2 years ago
I think this guy learned about disc golf on wikipedia or something. I don't understand where he gets any of this information most of it is wrong.

CANDY plastic is not stuff you can see through, dipshit... they are discs not in current production... i.e. Champion Xcaliber or Star Classic Roc...
