Oh man, I remember this movie. As a kid I actually didn't make the connection to Star Wars.

Also, the main thing I remember from this movie was trying to figure out if Cindel was a boy or a girl. Research leads me to the conclusion she's a girl.

Also, all the Ewoks are ventriloquists I guess.

The Gorax scared me so badly when I was a kid that when I became an adult to write horror stories, I'm using a "Gorax" type as a monster, except I made him more ferocious, and more to be feared that it even scares my imaginations.

I loved this when I was kid and still do! Even though looking at it now, the acting was pretty bad, but thats Star Wars for you.

I wont forget the argument I had with a guy I was going out with. I told him that Caravan of Courage and the Battle for Endor was created by Lucas, and all he could do was tell me I was wrong and that he would never create anything so shitty. He googled the movies and was speechless.

Besides the Ewoks, there's their cousins, the Duloks, the Yuzzum, the Dandelion Warriors, the Wisties, the Teek, the Phlogs, you've seen an example of the Gorax, not to mention the various aliens who've ended up stranded on this moon at one point of another.

@Gunganfan Hahahaha ok fair enough, I just find it hard to imagine a Gorax on a tractor clearing the land, that's all. And the Ewoks, who appear to be still living in the stone age, would no have the technology to do it. What I'm really getting at, is that that shot makes 'Endor' look anything BUT a jungle moon in a galaxy far far away, but rather the view from my backyard.

@burrorojo19 Despite its name, the FOrest Moon of Endor is actually composed of many varied ecosystems. There are also grasslands, swamps, deserts and even glaciers. Deej clearly decided to build his family's home close to some open land for their bordoks and other herd-beasts to graze on.

@GodCutter : I bought this on Amazon, on DVD. It's one of those 2 movies on 1 DVD thing. You get Caravan Of Courage AND Battle For Endor. To me its great quality. Its different prices at different times. When I got it I think I only paid $25-$35 bucks for it for a good quality used one (to me it seemed brand new). But its so hard to find it was worth the money to me, to have it with a cover and everything. The brand new ones are $60ish bucks. Right now anyway.

As much as I remember these two Ewok movies that came to TV years ago, I also remember that other George Lucas movie with Warwick Davis; Willow. With all the fantasy adventures George Lucas had worked on outside of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, especially Willow, I think George Lucas should make them three books he wrote in the 90s that were based in the same world as Willow. Shadow Moon, Shadow Dawn, and Shadow Star. What's say you Mr. George Lucas? Make them three books into movies?
