I love Iroh, he would have made a damn good Firelord. I think one of the reasons he was overlooked was because he wouldn't have kept the war going, especially when he had just learned the hard way how precious life is and how easily snuffed out.
Two words for this vid, stun-ning! Not only is Let My People Go one of my favorite songs from Prince of Egypt but the way you paralleled the song with the Avatar characters Iroh and Ozai was just awesome.
The only difference between them two and both Moses and Ramses is that the Prince of Egypt "brothers" both shared a sort of equal sympathy for each other. In Avatar, only Iroh was the sympathetic one.
Ozai didn't care who he had to step on or hurt to get what he wanted. Still, great video

No Zuko's mom did not kill Azulan. I have suspicions that Ozai arranged his death and became Fire Lord. If you recall, Zuko's mom had to leave before Azulan died.
Yes. In the episode The Eclipse when Zuko confronts Ozai he tells him that "You're mother did treacherous things that day" "blah blah she knew I wanted the throne and paid the price she was banished"

basically iroh was busy with his 600 day siege of ba sing se, then Lu ten died an iroh went into emotional distress. Ozai told Fire Lord Azulon that he should give him iroh's birthright because iroh was no where to be found and had no heir. Azulon ( who always liked iroh) became furious that ozai would say such a thing when iroh was going through a period of suffering, he said iroh had gone through enough suffering but ozai's suffering was about to begin.
@kleanthis1000 Fire Lord Azulon ordered Ozai to kill Zuko and ozai was going to do it. Ursa ( zuko's mom) found out and swore she would do anything to save her beloved son. She then proposed a plan where zuko is saved and ozai gains the throne. The exact details of how Ursa killed Azulon were never revealed. Then someone made up a lie that Azulon had passed the throne to Ozai in his dying breath. Iroh was nowhere to be found and Ozai was crowned Fire Lord.

Then it's kinda speculation from there, but we are all pretty sure Ursa kills Azulon and somehow Ozai inherits the throne...of the incomplete plot lines! =)

Ozai then told their father, Azulan, that he deserved to be the Fire Lord since Iroh was cowardly. Ozai was then told to kill Zuko, to experience the pain and loss that Iroh had felt. Of course Ozai is heartless and has no feelings. He became Fire Lord after Zukos mom left.

the Last Airbender film got nominated for every worst award that exists, worst actor, worst supporting actor, worst supprting actress, everything except for Special Effects those were done beautifully but that is the only good thing about it, and the director is considering making a sequel, if he does he better not change anything and i mean anything about Toph
