9, like the other commercial networks, never did anything original in their lives. this concept & jingle would have been purchased off the rack from some US corporation and a local version produced. same with their news themes etc. people were deluded into thinking it was original coz they never travelled or saw the overseas originals. what's remarkable about this lot is the poor production values and general cheapness.
This jingle IS catchy. Not bad if you ask me. Not to mention this did last into the "Living Color" era.

apparently STW9 Perth had the "Channel 9 Feeling" jingle too at one point, with the same dance steps

Same music and dance routine for TCN-9 Sydney. Great to see the GTV9 versions... Sad in a fascinating sort of way :)
