What do you mean by relation?
Well, they both stayed true to the old style of music and never embraced the new developments.
Just compare Leo with Pergolesi and you see what i mean.

I meant by them meeting or perhaps having the same music instructor/ musical influence of a particular composer.
Their music styles are both very mathematical...
