I don't understand the concept to "hitting" in popping dancing. Like, how do they move so rigidly and punctuate every move with a crisp pulse of the chest? The "pop." Can someone explain this concept? Cause I can do some of these moves, but when I try to tighten my abs or pump my chest between every beet it just F_CKS me up big time. Any knowledge?

look up the fresno. and the pop has a lot more depth than just the torso. its necessary to hit your legs... arms...head.... but start with the fresno to get used to the rhythm and feel of the pop.

its takes a lot of time to devlope your hit, just keep at it man. just practice hitting for like a week. put on some music and just hit to the beat dont really do any moves just hit at a bunch of different angles. keep in mind the more you work on every area of hitting the less youll have to work up certain areas that you neglected. head, ches,t legs, arms and hands(hands are more of a snapping motion but dont over do it)

musicality plays a big part when it comes to hitting..what poppingcain and doesnthave1yet mentioned are absolutely correct..hit with ur arms first(fresno).. find the right timing when you're gonna hit..practice evreyday if you're really into it..

dementia is more well rounded then gucchon, but the stuff that gucchon has is more incredible than dementia's stuff. it is better to be amzing at a couple of poppin styles than to be really good at alot of poppin styles i think.

you should see gucchon do soldier toy man style, scarecrow, and much more.

dementia is good at tutting tho but gucchon would beat him in a battle because he has great control and isolation and he's boog is sick

Yea, demen had a better first round, if gucch didnt start animating on his 2nd, he may have lost if he also did no memorable combos.

I think the entire competition was rather huge (lots of great poppers all over the world) competed....and I'm going to guess Dementia probably used his tuts from earlier battles and possible didn't want to repeat them.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong though...this is just all an assumption =/

I think tutting is more like a half robotic effect cos if its angles.. at the same time it is more define and people like it..

hm idk my mind changes alot...tutting takes great creativity to freestyle too...i was pretty impressed when JSmooth used his tutting in the battle of him and bionic going against salah.
