Okay, this is NOT on hard. There are way too many supplies at those buildings. I just did it on hard on PC and there's nothing but a couple of health packs and maybe an energy pack at each building. This has to be normal (as you take too much damage for it to be easy).

wow dude I suck, I have so much trouble doing this on normal. I try and run down the hunters but it doesnt work out well. The first time I lost only 1 building - the 1 closest to the crane, last time I tried most of the buildings were getting owned. I didn't know there was a strategy to where they spawned. Just as well you have incredible accuracy when deploying them on the striders and with the pistol too. Amazing. Great Job!!!

@KrazyDanProductions if you're having that much trouble id recommend quicksaving before you fire the m device and use a machine gun to blow them up instead of the pistol, and imo the logs are better than the car for dispatching the hunters even on hard mode

ABUSE THE SAVE BUTTON!!!

YOU MUST save after EVERY time you kill a strider, it helps sooooo much!

You can save right before you throw the bomb at the strider, so you can keep trying over and over untill you get it. Then save after you kill it.

This was a huge time saver for me

Damn i just beat the game but i never thought of using the logs.. i just kept running them over and using my bow gun. I didnt really go back like he did i just chased them or would wait at the places where they would come out from and i would always kill the striders by using the M's from the back of the car.

Agreed. The first time I did this, I was so completely overwhelmed by the fact that these things blew the buildings before I even had a chance to react lol. The real trick to it is just knowing where the fast ones will pop up, and to be nearby when they do. More a trial an error deal, if you have the time and patience to figure it out on your own. Just ends up being one of those achievements that make you pull your hair out at first, but feel half retarded once you realize the secret lol.

Pretty good video and the logs are handy in a pinch, but I found rockets, pulse balls, shotguns and magnums are much quicker and effective and really made it a lot easier. the first two are 1 shot kills, shotguns are 6-8 at close range and magnums are 3 well placed shots at any range

You have to be ready for that sawmill strider!

He is the second strider to come out. Have a striderbuster waiting in the bushes so you can sprint to it after you kill the first strider. Be quick and do not miss. If you are too close, the humter along with the strider will just shoot away your striderbuster.

This achievement was difficult, pose. Little Rocket Man on the other hand was easy, the only thing that sucks about that achievement is how irritating it is to keep track of it as how commonly it will fall out of the car.

Well, after the first advisor scene, when the chopper is chasing you, how did you get by with the gnome?

Almost impossible man.!

Okay, when the gnome falls you simply leave it there until you get behind a train cart and the chopper is ahead of you. The chopper will not follow you on foot as long as you leave the car ahead of you.

So, using the train carts as protection you can retrieve the gnome and bring it back to the car. I only needed to repeat this metheod about once or twice and made it to the gate without dying.

the way i did it was i shot the gnome as far ahead as possible, drove up, took cover under a train, peek out, shoot the gnome again, rinse and repeat. its not easy, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine

Well, i prefer rushing at them it gives something far more epic to this battle when you're driving between their legs and have to retreat progressively towards the silo. Usually i take out the first one on the left of the saw mill as soon as it arrives and then i go back to the house (the biggest one) to kill the second one that comes from the middle of the map, and then RETREAT to destroy the 3 remaining near the silo.

Just did this one today, on my own, but I searched it in Youtube to see other people's ways of completing it. It was friggin ridiculously hard.. probably took me more than an hour to complete.

Although it may be too difficult to do it on hard -- I did it on Normal -- I just ran the majority of the Hunters over with my car. One hit kill.

Pretty epic final battle though, and it was nice to fight things without having to worry about where the god damn lawn gnome had gotten to.

just a quick note. In areas where there are more than 2 hunters the crossbow will drop them in 2 shots. Saves you a bit of time so you dont have to chase them with logs. Also alot easier to aim. There are also a couple of refils for it as well.

I was doing well until I got to the strider that gets close to the silo mine was accompanied by 4 hunters and as it approaches the silo the last fast moving one materializes and blows up its building just as it comes into view. it is also accompanied by 2 hunter. the first tow worked out fine but the last one is impossible based on the save I have. Oh hey, if anyone knows the song in this part could you please tell me? oh and to kill the hunters in the car you can get them at fairly close distances by using turbo before they have a chance to side step the car, sometimes the flettes get stuck in the car and you can vaporize the hunter by ramming it witch is pretty funny.
