I wasn't going to watch this, because the ingredients (except for cumin) are barely available in France (chili could be punishment for hardened criminals in France! with Jello for dessert!) but as usual, I learned something here. I love blackeye peas and sweet potatoes. I really think I can adapt this, make it not SEEM like chili, and it will work. The fresh tomatoes are probably super important here, I would think. THANKS! Another idea or three here!
