@sueluvu I don't have one with this song on it yet, but yes, I Do have several CDs. Most are scripture song CDs, but I also have one called Mountain Moving with mostly gospel songs and hymns and a couple originals. If you google Mountain Moving, the third hit will be a description of the CD. You can also click on the Albums or website links on my channel for information about our other recordings. Thank you for your interest!
Honestly, I think you're too critical about your voice. You don't make the same mistakes that a lot of others make - like singing through your nose and throat, so you don't sound phlegmy or anything. it was very natural. Well done :) I thought you sounded good. And even if you don't think so, at least take comfort in the fact that you sang CORRECTLY. lol
did u make up ur own guitar for this version? cuz i really wannt to learn your version for a an upcoming gig i really want to play this song at,,, ? if you didnt whos version is it?
I did come up with this arrangement, though I wouldn't say it's necessarily original. I actually got most of my inspiration for it from Gary Lowry's classical guitar version.
Thank you! Based on your interpretation of Beatle songs, I'm not surprised at all that your favorite version is the one by Tony Rice! My favorite version is the one by Tennessee Ernie Ford.
I liked your video! If you like, you can find my music video on Youtube and you can also find my CD on Ebay under Wayne Weberpal. Best Wishes, Wayne Weberpal
Another great song I think would be right up your alley ... Do you play 'Further Along'? I would love to hear that one too :)
Becoming popular has it's disadvantages, no? Reminds me of that give a mouse a cookie/give a moose a muffin series of kids books.. We always want more :D
I played my harmonica to your great version of Wayfaring Stranger several times before I noticed that you had made this video in response to Jack White's video. I learned how to play Wayfaring Stranger on my banjo because of Jack White's rendition of the song. So, I guess you and I are on a similar wave length.
Well, I actually put this video up quite a while before I discovered the Jack White version, but I really liked it, so I decided to just use this video as a response. But that doesn't mean we're not on a similar wave length! Thanks for your comment!
i couldn't hear the words. not because your voice is soft but because the music was AMAZING! You are an amazing guitarist. post here if you ever have another song!
I've been wanting to cover this song for a while now but i never found a good enough tab to use or a good enough version to imitate. But i've just found a good enough version to imitate. Yours.
I love this song. Listen to the words!! I'm going home!! God bless!! I cant wait to see Jesus's face!! Praise His name!! I can't wait to see my sister!!
Do you know like the original person who sung this because I just heard like really old version one day and I have no idea of who did it ...good job by the way
It's not uncommon with a traditional folk song, that there will be several alternate versions, but I think these lyrics are the most widely used. If you want to PM me with the lyrics you used, I'd be interested.
Maybe I'll do that some day, but right now this setup seems adequate for the purpose. I have CDs available if you're interested in studio-demo quality. This is just for fun. Microphones just clutter up the video in my opinion.
I play this by ear, so I'm not sure where you'd get tab unless I tabbed if for you. You're at least the second person who's asked for it, though, so I probably ought to get it done. I'll let you know when it's available.
Yes, my brother in Christm, I like the song. It ispired me to keep going on this pilgrim trip that I'm making on this cold, heartless, and merciless world. With patience we will all make it to the: "Wonderland, where dreams come true" where the Creator of all that is seen and unseen has made His Throne.
A legend! That's the first time I've heard that superlative in connection with my name. I hope the paparazzi don't discover that until I'm gone! Blessings on you.
You mean I have a fan? Does that make me a star? Am I going to have to hide from the paparazzi? I sure hope not! Thanks for the warning, and I won't forget you. Thanks for the affirmation. To God be the glory.
There are lots of different arrangements for this song. Everyone I've heard on You Tube is a little different. If you really like this one you may have trouble finding it, because I'm the only one I know that does it exactly this way. I could try and tab it out for you though, if you would like me to.
I prefer the version sung by Joan Baez, but it's just because I have a preference for slow-paced, calm songs :> I imagine others would choose your version over any other due to its livelihood.

Hey Jack, it's the Romedawg. That's some nice guitarmanship, dude. Which is always nice to hear. I wish I can play a guitar like that someday. Something about the way you strum that guitar that makes me want to go out there and learn to play the guitar. Been wanting to, but was kinda gunshy to learn. I think that after seeing your guitar music covers to other people, I'm thinking more and more I should do it. So, thanks once again for this, dude. Really cool.
I'm glad I can be an encouragement to you. Just remember to play for your own enjoyment, and don't worry about how well or poorly other people play. You can learn a lot just by watching and listening to others and asking questions.
