this actually seems to work great with the source engine. maybe you should also add in the source motion blur in the over-the-shoulder view to make it even better.
kickass, that was really cool, the first scream part scared the hell out of me. the resident evil feel is defiantly the best for a kickass "whats around the corner?" feel
If you do decide to make a horror game, please get some new sound effects for the wood and glass. It doesn't feel like horror with them, it feels like HL2. Also, I like the Silent Hill Camera better.
Wow. The RE camera was the most effective in conveying horror, although the GOW camera gave a more personal view of the action, and I'm sure you could fix the glitching-through-walls problem. Now lets see that same scenario again in Filmation! :P
