I have a pro-street Nova with M/T 32x17.5x15 tires. A hard neighborhood street won't bite. I can break my tires loose at about 40 mph on a regular street/road. At the track where you have rubber in the groove and the benefit of a burnout...it will hook. I'm 9.90s on motor....a tad faster on my prigressive fogger.

If its a pice of shit basket case with rust every where I wouldnt buy it becuase in the long run you could have bought something nicer for more money and you wouldnt have spend a ton of money on the body fixing it up. Hot Rod Magazine did an artical about top fuelers(scott calitta was the name i believe), and it talks about how it takes over 20 injectors (i dont know the exact number) and 2 fuel pumps to power the engine. And the claim is that it uses fuel at the same rate as a 747. So tell me how your car with just under 700HP is running 7's.
