  • If they could combine her voice, with The Beatles backing, and with the Shirrels synth solo near the end, then we would quite possibly have the best song ever made on our hands!

  • yup, impossible to get tired of

  • I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm declaring that it is impossible to tire of this song. Just an amazing vocal.

  • great song!

  • Lovely....

  • Before Smith Blew everyone away with their version, the Shirells had the most popular version . Its worth a listen. I beleave around 1957

  • @Villeneuve27 I really love the Beatles, but have to disagree with you on this. Smith sings it better than ANYONE else.

  • Who dared to dislike this should be careful from Stuntman Mike.

  • I love this song! The way she sings the song, is both beautiful, and soulful. I feel her pain in her impossible situation.

  • Okay, this must've been in a Tarintino movie .... do I have anybody out there approaching "old fartdom" that remembers this when it first hit Top 40 radio ?

  • The Beatles!

  • awesome!

  • You know what they should do? They should take the songs from Quentin Tarantion's movies & put them in a collection you can buy so then you'll have all of them, from "Reservoir Dogs" to "Inglorious Basterds". So many people would buy it. I know I would! Don't know how/if they could get the license from all those artists & their families. Still, it's an awesome thought!

  • @Vampwars there have been a couple compilation cds just like that. i have two that include dialogue from various movies in between songs, and one that is a mix of songs and tarantino talking about his song choices and ideas.

  • This movie was epic.

  • That Gayle McCormick can SANG her ass off!!!!

  • This song was originaly recorded by The Beatles, but as I see most know it from Tarantinos Death Proof...
