"Pyaasa" by Guru Dutt was a great Indian classic and it is such a huge responsibility to even attempt to remake anything close to it. Taking Katrina Kaif to play Waheeda Rehman's character is in itself an insult to Guru Dutt's classic. That woman Katrina cannot act and Aamir can hardly come close to the melancholy and truth expressed by Guru Dutt of post-independent India. Taking Katrina is a huge blunder and it's akin to adding insult to yesteryears classics.

The photo of Katrina and me is for a coffee table book on romance in Indian Cinema. Its got nothing to do with a film on Guru Dutt.
