The 2005 mustang stock has 210 hp stock, with that intake and exhaust, probably putting out 220hp maybe less maybe more. The exhaust isnt making anything really, its mainly for the sound, and the intake is where all that extra hp is coming from.

I have a 2008 4.0 5 speed with trac-loc, 3.73 gears, intake, exhaust and tune and I walked a charger R/T last night from a 45pmh roll :D Granted, if it were from a stand still the low end torque will give the charger the advantage off the line. A chrysler 300 C taught me that lesson ;)

the v6 mustangs are severely underestimated...Ive seen some even with the 3.8 trash new gt500's..soo anything is possible, that and I do prefer the better handling characteristics in the v6 due to less nose weight...once you replace the pan hard rod with a watts linkage, add a Steeda handling package...plus all the other goody's I mentioned...you have a monster. For WAAAYYYYYYYY less then a gt500.

dont own one so dont use that against me but to me the more economical choice is the charger.. holds people (comfortable) 4 doors easy to swallow more passengers and still is quick.. i find the mustang v6 to be pretty quick too. sure not compared to its older brothers but i mean 211 hp (which with a few hundred $ goes up) is not bad at all for the price and rwd u get the feel of a demon when the nose rises.. awesome!
