smokingdonut - i had a typer, now i'm looking for 2.2. 1st of all it's easy to make it go faster than type r, second it has 5 seats, 3rd it uses 3 times less fuel. so even though you have to spend extra 1k pounds on it it's still worth it.

In gear acceleration might be quicker on a chipped 2.2 over all the Type R would be quicker, both round corners the same and would stop much quicker. With that big heavy 2.2 lump up front the 2.2 will understeer when pushed.

CTR combined cycle is 31mpg, 2.2 combined cycle is 55.4mpg, so not 2 times less fuel, but that's a small price to pay to hear and feel the buzz of 8k rpm instead of the noise of a tractor.

I have seen this car before and appreciate what he has done though.
