you should play games that he might know with him then work ur way alittle bit at a time to 1st person shooter..thats wat im doing with my girl she likes black ops but its alittle to hard so we play combat until she gets mad but we have fun she is ok but teaching her more advance stuff...but dont play zombies until he know more about cod lol...oh nice videos good games girl

I say does he like sports cause if he does then you should definetly start him off with sports games or even if he watches sports give him some NBA 2k11 or madden those are simple games any guy should understand hold x shoot walla you win then when he gets use to those he wll eventually want to try shooters or osmething and when it comes to shooters dnt jump straight to Cod try halo 3 something simple so he can get use to how the multiplayer things work without having to learn all the buttons

Here is an idea, find something he likes (video game wise) and play it with him. It took only one game to get me into this whole being a "hardcore gamer" phase.And look at me know....lol . All he has to fall in love with gaming,it can't be forced....Worst case scenario dump him and date me lol j/k

I say run him through the different genres and see which he likes most. Apparently he does like platformers since he liked Limbo. Try Outland or Super Meatboy next. I'm not really sure how many other platformers there are, recent ones at least. Maybe Doritos. Then try racing, action/adventure, rpg. or story based like heavy rain, la noire, catherine. This may take awhile :/

Fifa 11, try that with him, should work just fine.

If that doesn't work... meh... GTA IV... Red Dead Redemption... LA Noire... especially LA Noire, really easy to get into.
