I lost 108 pounds walking, walking up and down many many hills and walking fast and often. Each person needs to do what works for their body and what they will tend to do daily. If swallowing unrealistic dogma from ex-marines worked for all, we wouldnt have any obesity.
walking instead of car for short distance shopping, climbing stairs instead of elevators, doing house work not using new tech. works as well to stay in shape. To lose just cut a little of high unhealthy calories!

How bout instead of driving places walking instead... It is easier to incorporate getting more exercise in your daily life than finding time to go running. Lets face it most people that are out of shape and want to lose weight can not handle running everyday.
yea thats perfect, walking instead of driving, but that is purposefully to get to wherever you intended on going, walking alone is never going to lose you weight. walking for the sake of excersize should be replaced by running and ofcourse they can handle running every day, just gradually build up gradually run for longer over TIME,, but dont make excuses running is the only way, or atleast only walking is definitely certainly not the way
You dont know what your talking about. You lose weight by having a calorie deficit. If i eat 2000 calories and burn 2500 I am losing weight, regardless of how I burned them....

Listen pal, I play basketball at a college level, I am in better shape than you can ever dream of. I am also a Kinesiology major and working on my personal trainer license. The reality is running does not work for everyone. At the end of the day all weight loss has to is the amount of calories burned vs taken in. Riding a stationary bike for 30 minutes then lifting weights for 30 minutes would do you a lot more good from a weight loss perspective than jogging for an hour as well.
basketball eh? thats great ive gone through 32 week royal marine training, on top of already being very physically capable and i know from experience, not just personal but seeing other people aswell, and i mean people who are trying to lose weight, that it really is as simple as, run and dont eat crap. simple as that.
all fake..they had a good body all before.....(you can see tha muskels on the before pics. They just make the pics like put forth their belly ) than they just get very fast a bit bigger.....and than they make a diet and get the body they had before again......
yo kid. just eat healthy and dont say your going to eat well later in life just do it now. take a hour walk after everymeal and dont eat untill your full. and read read read and read!
I lost 35 kgs in 4 months just by walking for an hour and a half each day, eating six small meals and cutting back on fat and no carbs except for veggies and fruit. Then I spent the next 5 months just doin weights & tonin my bod. lost an additional 10 kgs and but gained muscle. I'm now a lean toned muscular 6ft at 90 kgs.
hi there, im 35 n do exercise regularly basically overall with running includes (2.4 km) but i still feel the same buut people around commented on how i look but i dont seem to be making drastic change.Please advise or share with me your secrets.cheers mate
well done. I have to do something about my weight now too. I have got back up to 220 kgs, and it is hard walking. I broke my left ankle 4 months ago and it twisted 180 degrees, so it is still rather painfull for me to walk. I have put on about 30 kilos in the last 4 months, as I have been spending alot of my time laying down due to my foot injury. But I will have do to something soon. I think I will have to change what I eat, and then with time I will be able to walk better and help my foot too.

its hard on your body to run everyday unless you are in good shape or are use to it to begin with. Simply walking everyday does the trick as well!
