  • this person just got breyer models and gave them a legends names because that not ruffin?

  • I did not just give them names. The Ruffian model is indeed the Classic model produced around 1976. There is also a Traditional Ruffian.

  • i like it and i love barbaro

  • Do you have Phar Lap or Zenyatta because there my fav well i have Phar Lap I just love Zenyatta

  • Yes, I have both the traditional Phar Lap as well as Zenyatta. These videos were made quite some time ago, so new additions to my collection are not shown. Thank you for watching.

  • yeah where is secetariat hes a world racing legand so how is he not there !?

  • I do not have the Classic Secretariat model. It was a special run as part of Triple Crown Winners II set. I have the Seattle Slew and Affirmed from the set, but not Secretariat. If anyone has one for sale let me know! : )

  • Wheres Secretariat I have him!

  • isen't Ruffian supposed to be a running model?

  • @wolfsrule100 theese are all classics i believe....but ruffian is a running model in trad scale

  • where did you get them at

  • I bought most of them back in the 70's at different stores. The Ladies of the Buegrass Set came from Churchill Downs, and other sets either came from Breyerfest ( I got them on ebay) or through QVC.

  • those are the older ones the newer ones are better

  • I just checked the Felicia Browell Breyer guide and I believe it is wrong. If you check the markings and colors of the real Citation and Whirlaway you will find that Breyer painted them correctly and Browell got them mixed up. Whirlaway was a chestnut, but Citation was a bay, just like the model. Browell lists both models as chestnut. Thanks so much for pointing this out to me and making me curious enough to check it out.

  • The chestnut from the Triple Crown winners set is Whirlaway. The lighter bay (Kelso mold) is Citation. Whirlaway is the Silky Sullivan mold, and Count Fleet is on the Terrang mold. Sorry, though, these guys are not for sale.

  • Regret is from the Ladies of the Bluegrass set.

  • IS regret from the U.S. Equestrian Team/U.S. Equestrian Team Special Set??? If so, send his photo to identifyyourbreyer(dot)com! They still neeed it!

  • YOU HAVE HIM!!! The one at 0:16 is not citation!!!! I have countfleet and citation! All i need is him to complete my Triple Crown Winners, Set I !! Would you be willing to sell him to me for about $40-50?? I bout the other 2 off ebay, but the chestnut was missing from the set!

  • my race horse legends are seabiscuit, man o war,war admiral

i am getting ruffian for my brithday

  • I names my new black mare Ruffian because i miss her.

  • I love Man 'o' war

  • i have swaps,kelso,and man o war

  • sorry i geuss* i didn't finnish the sentens. that was achurly* nice job.

  • that was achurly* that was really good. i like it =)

  • Ruffian had a very small band of white on one of her back ankles, it's hard to see in photos sometimes but it's there. Maybe Breyer overdid it with the white paint! : )

  • I love the ruffian model but Ruffian never had a white sock lol just saying :) love your models

  • Phar Lap is in another video, I would never forget him! : )

  • HEY! you forgot Phar Lap :( lols

  • OMG!!! i have all of those too!! i have the traditonals to Man-O-War,pharlap,ruffian,War Adimaral, barbaro, cigar, sebiscuit, spectacular bid

  • wow do you own all of these? but the video is really cool!!

  • Yes, I own all of these horses, thanks for your comments.

  • There is a Traditional size Ruffian too, this is the Classic size.

  • im not sure these are the acual ones

i have a ruffian one and it doesnt look like that

  • this are super old

  • Do all of these horses come in Traditional size too?

  • Breyer make a Trad size Seabiscuit (two of them, actually), Man O' War, Ruffian and War Admiral. They also make lots more like John Henry, Smarty Jones, Cigar, etc. To see my collection of Traditional race horses please check out "My Breyer Race Horse Collection" video.

  • i am a bryer horse collector

    i especially get the racehorses

i was wonsering where you got some of your racehorse ones

  • All of these were purchased in the 70's and

80's. My more recent Traditionals (Smarty Jones, Ruffian, Rags to Riches, etc.) come from my Breyer dealer.

  • Oh, they're Classics? So that's why some of the models don't look like their Traditional counterparts. Neat, I didn't know they made so many racehorses or that there were racehorses in Classic size. Thanks for uploading.

  • oh... shame.

    Do you have RedRum??

    Hes my all time FAV

  • Check out my video called "My Breyer Race Horse Collection" to see Red Rum. Thanks for watching!

  • u still hve a lot to go then . there is a lot of them.

  • ruffians was way off and that doesnt look like the ruffian models iv seen

  • Do you have Red Rum?

  • Yes I do. I had to order him from Utterly Horses in the UK. Check out my video "My Breyer Race Horse Collection.". Thanks for watching.

  • are these classics or tradional?

  • All of these models are Classic size.

  • Ah, the silky sulivan model. Gatta love it =)

  • They have a Man o war breyer? I never saw that on there site but I thought they should have made one. Cool!

  • Yes, the Man O'War Traditional is quite old-I think it is actually from the 60's. The Classic Man O'War made its debut in the mid-seventies.

  • do u know if they have brounght out a white stallion racer called ThunderHead hes the son of flicka

  • No, Breyer has never done this model--it sounds like a good idea, though.

  • u r so lucky 2 have so many race horse breyers im soooooo jealous

  • I know... all I have is the Traditional Barbaro and Ruffian.

  • i have the Rags to Riches and the Barbaro and some others

  • I want Rags 2 Riches SOO BAD! Hopefully I get her 4 my b-day.

  • that didn't look like seabicuit

  • wow i didnt even know they had this many racing classics

  • You got Man O' War,Ruffian, and War Admarill?!I NEED THEM!

  • What kind of scale is Genuine risk cause I have and I use him as a foal?

  • All the models in this video are Classic scale.

  • They look too small when I put them up yo a clasic

  • did i comment on this? well just in case, I LUV IT!!!!

  • great vid luuv the bryeyrs!!! where did u get them from?? ebay??

  • Some came from ebay, but most of my horses came from my Breyer dealer, The Curiosity Shoppe in Jacksonville, FL.

  • I only have about 40 breyers.

  • *hides from embarassment* I can't believe I don't know my own state's song... Woop, lol Love the horses. Do you have Barbaro?

  • Yes, I have Barbaro-check out My Breyer Race Horse Collection to see him.

"My Old Kentucky Home" is a GREAT song, especially when it is sung before the Run for the Roses!

  • what site did you make it at?

  • Yea i have seattle slew. Secretariat, cigar, seabiscuit, and War Admiral

  • i have the secretariat and he came with a bed of red roses :)

  • do you have Lendel Ray?

  • As far as I know Breyer has not done a model of Lendell Ray. I will have to check that out.

  • i m sorry but i think that u didnt named all of them...i also think that u forgot one..but i dont know if it exists as "model horse"..

  • I didn't name all of them because not all of them have names! The QVC Special runs and Breyerfest Special Runs did not have official names.

Also, which one did I forget?

  • ok..thank for the information..so..do u know ehre i can find some of them?

  • ebay is your best bet, all of these models have been retired.

  • i have none of these. they very pretty. my favourite is the last one. it is the same colour as ella (a flea bitten grey horse in my riding school) but ella has a grey mane and is not a thoroughbred.

  • very nice collection.oh and i LOVE the song choice(i live in the state of kentucky):-]

  • Cool Classic Racehorse Collection. Swaps has always been my favorite, ^_^

  • I only have 9 racehorses made by Breyer.but I have 175+ models in total

  • Lovely collection - I'm glad you shared it with us. :o)

  • Thank you! These guys are my pride and joy.

  • Nice. I want Man O'War SOOO bad!!!

  • he is soooooo cool!

  • why is ruffian bay?

  • Ruffian was actually a dark brown or bay filly. I think Breyer made the Classic model a bit too light. The Traditional model looks more like her.

  • whichever one in this picture was like way lighter then her... i know she was a dark bay but here its just REALLY light

  • i love the breyerfest horses, you should get barbaro and afleet alex, i have them and they are great!

  • Check out my other Breyer horse video and you'll see Barbaro, Afleet Alex and lots more! Glad you enjoyed the movie!

  • My next video will be of my Traditional racehorse collection. I may even do one of my Stablemates too.
