I told the missionaries since I was already a Christian I didn't need to be baptized again if I joined them. I didn't in 1994 when I went from the Baptist to AG. They said I needed to be baptized by one holding the Melchiz. priesthhood. I told them that leaves out the LDS since Heb. 7: 24 says Jesus has the priesthood and NO ONE ELSE (the Greek word is "aparabatos" meaning "incapable of being transferred." The left with mouths hanging open. Hope they come back so I can lead them to Jesus!
@GRANADA405 What things are you talking about? Everything he has said in this video regarding the LDS religion is fact, and can be backed up with evidence. If he's wrong, tell us how.
@GRANADA405 Regarding his comment, maybe it is a bit unfair, but I could see it being in some cases. Is this all you have a problem with though? Can you provide any examples of "points that he knows are just not the case", or are you just going to continue saying saying he's wrong? If he's misrepresenting the LDS faith, please provide an example rather than continuing to make blind accusations.

@UNTOGOODWORKS Ummmmm, obviously I'm not a religious person, why are you bothering me with what you say is "truth"? I'm just trying to be a logical, kind person. You're stupid quarrels with other religions do not concern me beyond this random comment thread....

@TenFTFalcon And just to let you know, I have had a few Mormon friends in the past, never tried to witness to them at all ;) I just like watching Shazoolo's videos. He says things some times I disagree with, sure, but that doesn't change the fact that I enjoy watching his vids! Anyway, happy trolling, it's pointless, and a waste of your time, but you have fun with that now! :)
@GodSwordofGabriel Just to let you know I had to block this guy (TenFTFalcon) in the end as he left threats of violence against me on my channel homepage (which I took screen shots of in case I decide to take the matter further and get his ISP tracked).
@Shazoolo Big deal...anyone that gets into an altercation with the mormons..are just spinning their wheels..all mormons are brainwashed sheep..going to the slaughter..no sense to argue with sheep.
@TenFTFalcon Actually I just want people to have a civil discussion, nothing less. I have no plans on nitpicking anything, or debating with anyone else. I just read some of the comments, and your lack of dialogue with others bugged me is all. TBH I could care less what you think, or believe, I am just saying that it looks bad when you are insulting others and putting people down in vicious ways, instead of pointing out how you think they are wrong. How hard could that be if you are right?
@GodSwordofGabriel there is no sense in trying to be friends with mormons..they are nice people on the surface but once you start questioning them about what they believe about their religion..watch out1 The daggers come out and they can become very nasty people!
@janiejones1943 Yes, but it is okay to be polite and not try and pick a fight. If someone wants to, then that is up to them. I have no reason to act in such a manor, but thanks for your concern! =) I know how they are... in person, I have known a few throughout my life.
@TenFTFalcon No, it isn't about bashing Mormons. It's about knowing what is true based on the evidence we have. Also, if telling Mormons they are wrong or in error means they are being bashed then Christians are likewise being bashed when Mormons go to their doors and tell them that the 1st vision states that all the Christian creeds are an abomination and their creeds corrupt etc.
@LDS4Life71 Well, if the god of the Bible really is a deified man, a created being, as Mormon doctrine teaches, I should convert the Hinduism since their god has always existed and is more powerful.
@LDS4Life71 Can you provide an example? I would like to know exactly what he said that was a lie. Can you tell me that? As far as I can tell, everything in this video is true.
@betawind Luke 13: 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see ABRAHAM, AND ISAAC, AND JACOB, and "ALL the PROPHETS", IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, and you yourselves thrust out.
@TenFTFalcon How about making a valid argument and discuss this? Insulting people won't make your point of view valid, and on top of that, it just looks immature. If you disagree with what Shazoolo says, then make a valid argument as to why you disagree, so we can all have a civil conversation here.
@TenFTFalcon Way to go for showing the true spirit of Mormonism! lol! Very convincing argument! lol! Why not try and interact with the information presented here rather than show yourself to be inarticulate and feeble in in debate?
Why can't you people all just get along? Mormons believe in Jesus too, the rest of the world is laughing at you and your petty inter-religious quarrels.
@lickhunt You see the deception the Mormon church has created is evident even in what you have written here. On the surface, Mormons give the impression that they are like any other Christian denomination but, when one peels back the outer wrapping, it is soon seen that they are actually so far removed from Christianity that it actually has more in common with occultism. Their Jesus (for example) is the product of sexual union between God and Mary, He 'became' a god, brother of Lucifer, etc.
@Shazoolo Listen, don't tell me what Mormons believe, I was raised as a Mormon. You're getting that information from that "educational" propaganda cartoon made in the 70's. I don't believe in Mormonism, but you my friend, are a fool.
@lickhunt; mormons add to the word of God, and that is accursed to add to the Word. Jesus didnt ordain false prophets. laugh away all you want. at leist i know and believe in the only truth there ever is and will be. No one can sway me from it.
Very interesting. My ministry is to release the power of the Spirit through the lines of authority of God's Sovereignty. Submission causes this authority to arise within us in full anointing. Therefore, our authority is not "in name only" -- but the anointing thereof manifests the authority in power. Further, I'm going to release the revelation of the NATION OF PRIESTHOOD -- that we are a NATION -- and that it is WE WHO ARE THE ROMANS 13 AUTHORITY of the NATION of Christiandom.
@marthale7 Who's the "real Jesus"? So far as I've seen, there has been not enough physical evident that a "real" Jesus ever existed, there are far to many stories throughout history that parallel the story of the Christian Jesus that were actually written before the time that you consider to be the time of this "real" one. I don't think you know what you're talking about. Let's not be ignorant when bashing other people's beliefs eh?
@lickhunt Those are the apocryphal gospels, They were written long after the 4 gospels. People will probably tell you otherwise but the fact is the ones that are written about Jesus in paticular contain pagan teaching that didnt come about till the 2nd century. The earliest one is the Gospel of Judas, it was probly written about 180 a.d.
Your doing such an amazing thing. And you can see everything you say is impartial, because your not trying to promote your own denomination. Its very inspirational, and when I become more educated and experienced with Christ I shall look forward to guiding these people to Christ as well.
I added this video to Stumble-Upon under the category of Religion along with some added tags so people can discover it, during the selection of a random site. This well-done video does need to receive plenty of attention so people can benefit.
In Christ Alone. Because anything else is just man's works. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
It seems to me the chief reason why Mormons are wrong is from the established teachings and continual succession of Bishops down the ages from the apostles to the current day. which puts a huge hole in this idea of the church falling into a great apostasy right after John, (as if the apostles were so incompetent so as to select the worst possible students whom they made Bishops and priests).
Shaz you are mistaken, there is an authority which is priestly. If we look at the early church we see there is an authority on the apostles, and not on the common layman, would we dissagree with the apostles in their own days? Yes there is an authority in the layman, but this is not an authority of that of the apostles. The mormons are wrong, but so are evangelicals on this matter.
@TheIconodule But very clearly shaz the early church had a concept of Authority, even in the New testament, we see pual speaking of an authority passed down through the laying down of hands into Timothy which I dont think we could assume to be for all laymen (as this was not something ever described of in the conversion and baptisms of those who entered the church) and the very next generation of Christians seem to say this as well. Saint Ignatius and Iraneaus specifically.
@TheIconodule We are the deciples of Jesus. When Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to His followers, this was not restricted to just the 12. We as Christians have the Holy Spirit. It is not through man's power but through God that people are saved, healed etc.
@markieman64 I never said it was restricted to the twelve, but clearly within the history of the church not everyone has had the same authority. I went to the desciples first, and then the next generation. not everyone is given the same role. Look at Paul's letter to timothy he explisitely mentions the laying down of hands as being a manner in which authority is given.
@TheIconodule The way you are talking about it it's like the Spirit transfers through tactile contact. It doesn't. The Holy Spirit is God. He doesn't need humans to exist never mind move about. Also we have no authority. God has the authority. God doesn't place certain people on a pedistole giving them "special powers" as we are powerless. As soon as the focus starts being on people rather than the Lord...then we have to worry.
@markieman64 The way I am talking is biblical and historical. You may ignore the fact that the apostles had authority over the layman, and that the very next generation of Christians (St Iraneaus and St Ignatius as references) considered themselves to ave this same authority, but that doesn't change the truth of the matter. Now in saying we have no authority. Ultimately you are contradicting the bible in which Saint Paul says this (which you havent bothered to look up.)
Bro, have you or do you intend to do a video on JW? I'm just wondering because, they knock on my door all the time and they reject things which I have no negotiation over (such as healing in Jesus name and salvation directly from Jesus who died for us).
