Your complexion and coloring are very striking & beautiful! I was wondering, did the laser provide any other benefits to your complexion, such as a softening, smoothing or tightening affect upon the skin tissue?
Thanks so much for this video, I've been considering laser treatment for my upper lip, jawline and chin, and although the prices on the SK:N website are rather scary... i'm thinking it might be worth it??
Out of interest, are you able to apply makeup straight after a treatment? I'm worried that I might have to fit the treatments into my day which could possibly mean going to work with a red, blotchy face.
@Lubbcookie You won't notice much difference after just one sessions unfortunately, you really have to persevere and finish the course of treatments over the 6 months which I know feels like forever but it goes SO quickly!
Just shave in between treatments with a good razor and no one will notice a thing! x
Im having sessions at sk:n on my top lip too and have just had my 3rd laser- just wanted to ask how was ures after your third as mine is still really persistant (im1/4 greek) + just wondering how long it took for hairs to drop out for you? did it improve dramatically after your 3rd session? Thanks ever so much :)
@ettycroft The hair would drop out after roughly 10 days but my hair regrowth was super fast so wouldn't be hair free as much for long! However, after the 6 treatments, my upper lip is one of the most successful parts! It'll get there! Keep with it!! x x
Thank you for this video. I will check into this on Monday. I have terrible facial hair (from hormones) that I have to shave every single day. This has been so helpful.
I would just like to say thanks for the video because after seeing it I made the move and I'am soooo happy. I tryed everything else and nothing worked. Now just after one visit I can really tell it's working it does cost some money but well worth it :)
OMG, i thought i was the only one with the really light skin and DARK BLACK facial hair!! im actually Spaniard and we meditterrainians have these damned problems huh :( i actually just booked an appointment for my hair removal, i was looking for videos that might help me be brave, and your success has inspired me :) thanks for the video!!!
omg im so glad i came across your video.. im 18 nd thinking of doin my entire face also. But im a little worried.. because im at university and you said you hav to shave the hair wouldnt it grow back stubby and horrid? and i dnt want to go into class with a stubbly face!
If you use a good razor then you will be fine! You won't be able to tell you have shaved! After a day or so it will of course feel a little prickly but just run the razor over again and away you go! Also remember its only a temporary measure before no more hair! :)
It's so nice to know that I'm not alone in the world, with this problem. (= I have two questions, first if u can say the actual name of the method/laser u have used. and second if laser can give a higher risk of cancer? Ur skin looks really good on the vid, and I would really like to have this done as well, cause if u are a woman, u wanna feel like it... Please answer my questions, thanks :)
Hey chick! Ok I have no idea what the laser/method used is but if you get in touch with someone at SK:N then I'm sure they would be able to help you! I have not heard of any risks of cancer with laser treatment and its certainly not one of the risks on your consent form :) x
Hi! Just thought i'd say thanks for this video. After watching I booked a free consultation with the SK:N. I have problems with quite a few hairs on my face and it seems to get worse. I spend every morning plucking and the time seems to increase everyday! I was a bit wary about wether i should get the laser treatment done because of the shaving aspect of it, I have to go to work and uni everyday and just dont want people to know what im having done. Is this easy to disguise? Thank you!! xx
Buy a good razor, give your face a little going over each morning, apply make up as usual and no one should be able to tell anything! Its actually fine once you get used to it and nice to be able to be lazy and have it all off in seconds rather than an hour plucking!! x :)
Hey Thanx a lot for posting up this video...it really helped answer a lot of my questions. I've been thinking a lot about getting laser hair removal and I'm scared to go and get done. But I was wondering...how much would it cost to get laser treatment underneathe your chin area?
Hey! I wouldn't have a clue on prices as they obviously vary depending what country you are in and what clinic you got to but try googling a clinic near you and sending them an email to enquire x
hello :) was jst wondering how effective the treatment has been after a few months have gone by. as in, have hairs grown back or have they gone away completelly? thanx :) this video has been super helpful! xx
its that good to ur skin the hair removal.........is it hurt...and what age should be do the hair removal thing sorry for my english!!!and how much is it??!
well... today was my first day! my fiance' does this...she told me that i need to use the 'numbing cream' but i wanted to be tough. we went 4 passes for my first session....AND IT DID HURT! it was very comical to say the least!.... how any lady can have this done belows the belt near the "sweet spot" is amazing!
I was wondering if you're still hair free after the complete treatment, or if you started to notice some hair follicles growing back? Also, can laser hair removal cause a higher risk of cancer?
Thank You SO much for this video, it truly is a great big help. I've suffered from dark annoying manly hairs all over my body since 15. I made the big mistake of starting to shave my facial hair at around that time. But for the longest i was plucking, it got super annoying and time consuming so i said screw it im shaving it. After a few years it gets pretty bad. It makes me feel so ugly and unwanted. It lowers my self esteem to the floor and my self confidence is completely obliterated.
my mum rang sk:n and they sed it wud cost £775 for 6 sessions, and u sed it wud b £80 a session i was wondering y is there a difference in price. plz let me know.thanx
Ive just finished my 2nd treatment on my top lip and neck, the hair grows back much much slower and thinner. i nearly cried when they said i could only shave it but it really isnt that bad. do it properly and u cant even see the hair that u have shaved. Just think-- its gonna be sooooo worth it! great video chicks, everyone thinks their the only one with this problem
Heyy..im just wondering does this really work?...ive heard it does but then after a while ull probably have 2 go bak for some sessions and u start seeing little hairs and all that...have u been bak since ur last session or seen ne hairs?...cuz i really want to do this especially to my mustach lol but what scares me the most is the fact that they need to shave it n when u shave the hair it grows bak thicker and if this process isnt successful i wouldnt want a full ass beard r mustach lol

hello well i watched your video and i decided to do the laser hair removal also.. please comment me back and let me know how it is going for you.. take care
Let me know how you get on with your laser treatment! Everything has gone perfect with my face, I am actually going to have a couple more treatments just to make 100% sure its all gone! :)
I always had problem with stubborn hair. I saw the NoNo! on 'gratismakeupsamples' - (the offer may still be on), bargain! Its great, works better than i'd expected!
Thanks so much for making this video. I've been researching this for the past few weeks.. and I really think I'll be getting this done soon. You answered all of my main questions! :)
Thanks for your comment chick! Hopefully people will realise that regardless where you have hair you don't want, its actually quite normal for a LOT of people so we can stop making ourselves feel so bad for having it! x :)
Hi just wondering...how long the hair has to be for them to treat an area? How long after each session did it take for the hair to fall out? How long were you hair free before the hair reappeared inbetween sessions? Do the methods of hair reomval a person has used in the past affect laser hair removal treatments?
Laser isn't like waxing so you don't have to wait for the hair to be a certain length as you have to shave the hair before treatment anyway! It usually takes around 10 days for the hair to regrow and then fall out and there is usually a small hairfree period between sessions, how long varies from person to person. Hair removal methods used in the past won't affect treatment :)
what did you search for when you were looking for a place to have it done at? and what questions do you recommend to ask for someone like me who wants to have it done? what have been the results since you had it done? did you see results or do you struggle with facial hair still?
Did you have quick hair regrowth? I am looking into laser treatments because not only do I have coarse, dark hair on my chin/upper lip, but after i remove it with an epilator, it grows back within a day and a half or so. I guess for the average woman, hair is supposed to not grow back for 6 weeks if you remove it that way. I dunno if I have a hormonal imbalance, but I have struggled with this for years. Hopefully laser removal can remedy it.
OMG quick hair regrowth wasn't the word! lol! It was rapid speed man hair!! haha!! I would defiantly go to your GP and check to make sure you haven't got polycystic ovaries as this is one of the main culprits for female facial hair. laser can still be used even if you do have a hormone imbalance :)
Ive been puttin off this laser removale for a long time bcuz of watchin youtube videos and stuff about the skin colour change n how u can get blisters and stuff....i have a lil tan to me naturally but not much and im scared that it will affect the colour of my skin i dont kno what 2 do!! but honestly i have like a full grown beard on my face lol!
No I totally know how having a beard felt lol! Pigmentation changes are very rare and if you use a sunscreen on your face daily for 2 weeks after you should be fine! Blisters can occur if the laser is too strong for you but they will always do a tiny test patch every time they consider increasing the strength.
As with any procedure there are risks but find a good clinic you feel confident in and I really think you will be happy with the results! If they think your skin colour isn't suitable they will not recommend treatment. Would be worth having a consultation anyway! :)
This is a very nice and informative video. I'm 26 and in the U.S., and I'm Caucasian, but I too struggle with dark brown hair on my face. I get waxed every week and my body reacts well to the waxing, but its annoying. Even though you live in the UK, its nice to hear that you had good results with it.
I'm just at the beginning of my laser treatments and doing several parts of my body. Surprisingly, my lower legs were the most painful.. really bad... the face was like a walk in the park compared to that! Glad it worked out so well - I'll be so thrilled if I get 95% reduction!
Good luck with it! You'll have to let me know how you get on! I would love to get some more areas done! Shame they can't just fire a huge laser at your whole body and do everything in one go lol! The lower legs hurting sound like when you get a tattoo... where the skin hasn't got much fat! My cheekbone area hurt the most on me! The pain is worth it tho! :) x
Thanks for doing this video, not made girls would be brave enough to talk about facial hair!! I've got pcos and as a result excess hair, i can really relate to how it knocks your confidence, &i spend a good 1/2 hour every day plucking hair from my face, under my chin and i have side burns bigger than my boyfriend! i have looked into having laser treatment before but have been put off by the price and the pain but after seeing your video i think i'm going to look into it again! glad your back! x
My cousin has pco & got prescribed a cream from the doctors which slows the hair growth so might we worth getting an appointment and asking your GP about it too! I know all about Elvis sideies haha! Shame I wasn't born in the 1800s, I could have got a job as the bearded lady! Don't be put off laser for the pain, you will only have about 3 sessions that are a little uncomfortable but its totally fine and SO worth it! :) x
With the hair on my face I couldn't actually conceal it, I had to remove it completely and I did this by plucking. Facial bleach works for a lot of people and you can buy this in any chemist. If the hair is lighter its not as noticeable :)
that was very useful thank you. i come from an italian family too - my dads side, and i know exactly what u mean, i hate hair, and it shows up even more on my pale skin. its annoying. so yeah as soon as im old enough im probably getting laser hair removal too.
the vid was very informative loved it, thank god ur back :) xx
Loved the video. Could you do us an updated "Whats in my bag" Video please. im on my sisters channel but she wants yo to do it aswell so she Tags you :) Sara x x x x x x
I plan on getting my full face done. I cant stand shaving every day and seeing the little dark specs of it still being there.

How did you used to conceal your hair? I need some tips!

With the hair on my face I couldn't actually conceal it, I had to remove it completely and I did this by plucking. Facial bleach works for a lot of people and you can buy this in any chemist. If the hair is lighter its not as noticeable :)
