Hey holly I am pretty nilegable about puberty for boy and girl at school some people come and ask for me for advise and stuff and I am a girl I don't know when it is coming I have every symptom and I have benn getting discage for a year I am 11 when my it come please send it to my inbox please
i hope to get mine in math class.. SHE is the most amazing teacher ever i love her and i know she has her period i saw like 3 boxes of pads, tampons, and liners.
@misspiggieful They are paper thin pads. They usually come 100 or more to a box. Every company that makes feminine products makes them and they are all good. Watch our video called Tampons and Pads - What we use. Holly
@misspiggieful Pantiliners are the best shield for discharge. Keep a box on hand at home, and keep 1-2 in your backpack. Change them whenever they are soiled. Holly
But what if I get my period in the middle of the night?? And I don't really like talking to my mom about that stuff...? I have an older sister the could help me out..? U two should make more videos about this stuff.....! It really helps!!(:
@misspiggieful Your first period is usually so light that you probably wouldn't see any blood until gravity hits when you walk around in the morning. Usually it is just a spot or two of blood. When your period comes regularly you will mark it on a calendar and keep track. Then you will know about when it is coming. Wearing pantiliners when you think it might start will help you keep your clothes clean until it actually does. Holly
@ILOVEGLITTER2011 I will ask the youtube girl that told me about them. I tried to search online and couldn't find them either. I try to get back to you. HOlly
@ILOVEGLITTER2011 I asked my youtube friend and she said they are called..."Always Extra Heavy Overnight Maxi with Flexi Wings. Sometimes she also puts an ultra thing with wings along the top waistband of my underwear in the back so that my pads make a a T shape on nights when it's really heavy". Hope that helps. Holly
@kitty9604 We have a video but youtube won't let me link it to this. It is called, How to talk to an adult about tough topics. I think it will help you. Email, texting, a note in her purse, or pull her into a private room and tell her or hand her a note to read. Any of those ways are fine. Holly
i dont have my period yet and im 10 going on 11 years old in a month and i have discharge for 5 months now and if i get my period i wont tell my mom or dad i prob will tell my fav.couzin thats 18 she is a good talker should i carry pads 4 school? im scared i hear im on my last stage from my couzin
sometimes i feel left out though because all my friends have it and i dont, they say i shouldnt be complaining because its horrible to have it but i still want to fit in with them when ever they talk about it. Im a very very very active gymnast and i know if your active it wont come sooner than later.....:(
You guys are so funny, no matter what your talking about. I'm 18 and had started my period when I was 8 years old. I never really got to talk to anyone about it, Charisse, my family was like yours, we don't talk. These videos make me feel like I'm not weird for wanting to talk about it even though I'm 18. Thanks, and keep posting! (please)
i used pads until i was about a sophomore in high school and i remember how uncomfortable they felt when my period was sooo heavy. once i joined more sports i realized tampons were the way to go and never looked back! :)
@amyh98xxx Wow Amy you are really lucky. Other girls that read this will either be jealous, hate you, or wish they WERE you! Truly a "dream" period. Thanks for watching:) Holly
It really was reassuring to hear adults talk about this stuff :) many girls talk about periods but when adult women who have been there done that talk about it, it seems more 'real' in a way :)
when i first got my period i had it for about 6 days and it was a pretty light period i guess expect for the 3rd day , I didnt get my period till 3 months later again and when i did get it , it wasnt like the first time i got it , it was heavier and not the sam.. is this normal???
Asking for what you need during these changes in your body can feel hard. We get asked this a lot! First remember that your mom has been doing this for years. It's not weird to her. You can text her, write her a note and put in her purse, e-mail her, ask her to go for a walk and tell her what is going on, start a journal where you write to each other. She will totally understand why you need these items. It probably just hasn't dawned on her that you do. Have a great day! Holly:)
@crazy4vizsla because it loses it's stick. Pantiliners aren't as good as pads. Don't worry, if your pad has wings then it shouldn't come off, or give you a wedgie. ><
i get nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, crramps, my mom found me screaming in the closet crunched up in a ball.:9 midol that shit dont work tylenol doent work eaither.
my 5th grade teacher kept pads in her supply closet.
At my current school, they dont have pads in the staff womens bathroom. Haha, nor in the girls bathroom. I mean, they have the machine for them, they just dont have any in them.
I dont have any adult that I "trust". I only trust my insanely awesome best friend. Who has pretty much gone through her first period, and multiple times at school where she almost bled through her pants. She also got mad at me when I heard her.
i went to my school nurse once for a pad and she talked loud and said get it out of the box and there was this guy in the clinic my school nurse is probably the meanest school nurse in history.....
