  • I really enjoyed this video clip and "Fast Freights...Slow Locals". The modeling effort is first-rate and the sound is awesome!! I would rather hear this than canned music. The only suggestion I do have is a few more locos and cars lettered for C&O, B&O and WM plus a little more weathering on the locos and rolling stock. Other than those suggestions...you are guys are doing a really bang-up job modeling!!! Keep-up the good work!!

  • love the horns and sound effects!!!! great fallen flag video.

  • is the chessie system down here in the dc area?

  • Sadly, Chessie is no more..it is now CSX...I believe they were in the DC area..Potomac Yard?

  • In the early 1960s, the C&O allied with the frankly out of money B&O. It was not officially considered a merger. In 1972, B&O, C&O, and WM merged under Chessie, but retained their own identities. Yes, Chessie reached from Pennsylvania down into Virginia and out to the Ohio River.

  • Where's the Chessie Steam Special?

  • can't afford one...to rich for my blood! lol

  • It's a nice layout. I live in the Baltimore area, and Chessie-B&O were cool railroads. I rode the Chessie Steam Special a few times as a kid.

  • cool! I missed out but I bet it was a great ride

  • Yes, it was. I rode that one, the N&S 611 and 1218, the T&P 610 and the Reading 2101. Dad is a big steam buff. Unfortunately camcorders in those days were big and bulky, and I was afraid of getting soot in the mechanism, so I have no videos. :(

  • Is this Nscale?

  • H O Scale

  • It's so cool. Thanks!

  • wow,very BUSY THIS TIME!
