I installed it on my computer (not from the internet, I bought it) and my computer still runs fine, so does the game. (I even did a security scan and it was fine) Bottom Line: I think it probably depends on your computer, a new one with lots of space, ram, etc for the game would work fine, where as a old computer, with not much ram, space, memory etc, might not run as smoothly.

Do you think that the game will continue? That newer versions will appear if there is no profit? I don't like this either, but our society is driven by profit. Until this changes, it won't be ok not to support companies that make good games. Imagine that you are a developer and someone cracks you program. You must have invested money in making that program, so you will be robbed for some money. I am not ok with this because I have to pay too much sometimes, but it is the right thing to do.

And this "cracking the games" thing is going on for ages and developers still releasing new and new games, and they are aware of this problem, but still they are loaded as hell...

You don't see any difference between games? How the PC version is delayed? Some games don't even have the PC version. New games are released because of the market and because of the paying gamers. Cracking groups don't target the multiplayer part anymore. You won't be able to play with all the others. Some games are the most fun when played online and in multiplayer. I always wait for special deals before buying a game. If there were no paying gamers, no new games would be made.

The downloaded game has the same amount of STUFF that the original game has except the crack folder

And what bugs the original game has the cracked version has to because its just the cracked version, by cracking the game you just bypass the verification of the originality, or something like that...

The downloaded games are usually blurry, flashy and basically f*ck everything up on your game...whereas if you buy the actual game no risks, no blur and it will totally be worth the money.

Lol, I don't know why the pirate version of this game already come out here in Indonesia. The pirate version running rampant on this country. I myself have try the pirate version, pretty good gameplay I think, even though Im already bored to death with sims2, but sims3 offer a lot of new feature, for example the npc now aging up according to your sim, and there is small nice community where your sim can go around.

pregnancy is still 3 days, and you can go to the hospital to have the baby. sims still age. you can turn aging off in the options or with a cheat.
