This show is great. Love the role reversal between the spry, daredevil elderly character and the overcautious child. Need more positive elderly representations on tele.
how can grandpa run and faster than his own grandson?! He is too old!!! And doesn't he get airsick while flying in that plane in circles?! Also, how can he jump from such high places without breaking his hip?He must have gone hyper.
My kids and I LOVE this show. Can't wait for the DVD and I can't believe that people have slagged it off - its so harmless and incredibly funny if you are a small child! Give Grandpa a break or he'll shrink and get you.

@shrinkvid - it's now available on Xfinity (Comcast) on Demand under 'CBeebies' in the Kids section. I found it just now, and it's a pretty charming show.
The sets are amazing in real life... so much detail but they took a surprisingly short amount of time to go up. I went in one day and it was a beach, then it was something else entirely!

Grandpa lives with his family in a beautiful seaside town called Sunnysands. Everyone thinks he spends all his time stuck in his armchair, but he has a magic shrinking cap which only his grandson, Jason, knows about. When Grandpa puts his cap on, he becomes small enough to fit into Jason's pocket, not to mention his toy plane and car.
"Grandpa is playful and mischievous but always a force for good. He turns up in all sorts of unlikely places and creates comic mayhem which Jason has to sort out. Together, Grandpa and Jason make a great team and have a host of hilarious adventures.
