these things are the most adorable, sweetest, kindhearted creaturs ever. I didnt even know what these things were, my gf turned me on to them..I've been in love ever since. I wish it wasnt cruel to keep them as pets...what little sweethearts!!
@whorebot325 I would say it's not cruel to keep as pets. Especially where in the wild they are eaten by harpy eagles and big cats. In Brazil, indigenous Indians eat them! And idiotic kids think it's a sport to throw rocks at since they move slowly. My friend has a few in Panama and I visit as often as I can!

But like avdiz wrote after your comment, it's not cruel to have pet sloths if they're living in their natural environment, like in Panama, and are well cared for. The cruelty comes when poachers and exotic animal traffickers sell sloths to people in the US and other areas outside of Central and North America.They steal baby sloths from their mothers.
