Not worked for me. Should the gateway settings on the basic setup tab be the same as the router I'm connecting to? Although I have tried that with no success.

i notice that you need to manually input the SSID of the router that you want to get the signal from...

i want to set this up for mobile applications, can the repeater scan for local SSIDs and connect to the strongest signal, or allow me to choose an AP to connect to?

i did not notice any security settings, can you use the repeater with a WEP or WPA AP?

I have a question for you. This house im in has provided wireless internet. Using the dd-wrt firmware i connect as a client to that network and have my pc's on cables in my room.

If i was to setup the router as a wireless repeater, will i still be able to connect to the wireless modem via wireless client AND repeat the signal?

I ask because we are having coverage issues :(

on the overclocking tab how high can i clock it before i burn it up? and on the tx power tab how high can i set that before i kill it ? i paid 129.99 for my router and i don't really want to burn it up thx:)

as far as overclocking goes,i have not needed to mess with it yet because i get a signal on my entire property at default. I set tx to max and as long as the fan is on it doesnt get any warmer than usual. basically there is no reason to up any settings unless your sharing with neighbors. the whole point is to have it far enough away from your main router to get a weak signal so you can boost it from the hacked router.unless you have a massive estate or farm,you really shouldnt need to up it.
