And for good reason -- the day's catch is marinated in carrion. The oceans themselves are bloated with human corpses. Half of civilization migrated to the seabed, only a year ago.

They've barely even had time to rot. Not that the fish seem to mind.

The ones you manage to catch are the worst. They feast until their stomachs distend with toxic fumes. Then they float, struggling, to the surface. They're still alive, but too fat to get away.

this kinda jumped into my mind when even after graduating from high school, problems escalated, now im trying to help out my dad. im trying not to lose my will t fight like terra did. but to me its sort of a good reason why she did that, if she didnt find out what love was, then she was gonna disappear at the end.

It's awesome and yet VERY gloomy. But it's supposed to be gloomy as the world got screwed up bad and now the survivors are having to try to carry on with their lives the best they can while constantly having to worry about Kefka destroying their towns.
