@xlelanolx It did have a nitrous plate on top of the blower but we never had a need for it. A simple pulley swap from top to bottom was all we needed when we wanted stupid power and 20+ psi. Wish I had vids from when it had good tires under it!

That car actually hooked great because it was so light up front (other than the added weight of the 8-71). The video was shot with the tiny radials shown on the first still pic. All of the burnout pics had junk tires on it as well. With the 28 X 12.50 ET Streets it was nearly impossible to spin on the street. Very good hooking car that one was!

you may like the gtr but IMO i dont even consider it a car, i consider it a transportation machine. You cant see the passion in it, the car drives itself. Paddle shifting? Big, unnecesary screens that tell you every detail about the car. What happened to just building a fast car with your heart put into it and thats it? Its too flashy. Its a car for 60 year old men to buy and make them think theyre fast. I stick to the real cars, not automated robots that can take you to the core of the sun.Wbu?

haha sure if you want to add that weight... if he knew what he was doing with slush boxes he could build that 350 to handle that power and weight. or just get it over with and put a glide in it. you want to talk transmissions, im the guy. we had a 400 in our 67 camaro drag car, sure it didnt break, but when we switched with a glide we droped 3 tenths and then gears, cam, and converter got us out of the low 11s into the mid tens. it had a 5500 stall went to 4800 b+m nitrous hole shot.

right. So are you gonna back up your claim that the beloved AWD GTR can outrun what I estimate to be 600+ AT LEAST horsepower? If I'm not mistaken the GTR's output is about 470. I would take the GTR anydays as a stock, everyday driver, but in this race, I"m sorry, but you are just plain WRONG. However, if you throw some curves into the mix the GTR would domitate. I know a bit more than you think....Throw a suspension and chassis in this thing and there is no contest.

I'm saying that the insane amount of horsepower pushing that camaro would "probably" win against an AWD GTR --- as long as it's a straight road. Quit living in the 60's man... There's more to muscle cars now.

i'm big Supra fan, but tuned Supra would have problems in drag races against this DragV8.
also V8 ''muscles'' are the best tunable engines for high end power for Drag....RAW POWER.
in my country is one Chevy Malibu stroker with 1100whp(supercharger+turbocharger). doing 9s@402m. But i prefer tuners. lower MPG.

wrong. They have a charger called a twin charger. It combines the belt driven supercharger with the exhaust based turbo charger. You get the best of both worlds instant power of the supercharger with the awesome boost of a turbo charger. Check it out sometime

And i was wondering what i should do next to make it faster. any suggestions? i wass think maybe 373 posi track, or heads and a cam? but would heads and a cam be too much for the bottom end?
