hi guys, im having a problem with my n900.. i tried to install the ussd widget then afterwards, it said "internal error. phone application closed". then i rebooted it and it wont open anymore :( need some help guys..
Hi guys, it's still running fine. I have lowered the Overclock to 805mhz because it's summer now in Hawaii. I will be soon posting a tutorial for the newer method of overclocking you can do straight from your phone. I have worked on a new app idea for the upcoming Nokia N8. Please vote for my contact genius idea at 217.149.58.248/campaign/app?shared=1277426004
@snuski it just speeds up the stock clock speed. its like having a engine that used regular but your using Premium to get better performance. can u damage a device by over clocking yes- think of it as adding Jet fuel to your Engine, yea it make your engine faster but now u have more stress on your equipment Physical before it cant take it no longer.
did u have to manually update your n900 when u got the pr 1.2 update or did it still come over the air as usually because they said the about screen will read unknown and the update will have to downloaded via usb is this true
@mistalake lol i think somewhere on youtube someone recorded video at full HD so i'd guess it can play Full HD if you plug it in a compatible tv/monitor
@mangalsk8erboy Yes, with Titan's new OC method you can easily go back. Battery life is better in some cases depending on the frequencies and voltage you choose to use. The phone runs way better than stock. I could never go back. However, remember you are voiding your warranty. Do not go crazy with the overclocking. Take it slowly and do at your own risk.
good video i've o/cd mine to 930Mhz/125mhz. The battery is lasting longer almost full day of wifi on and lots of calls. I think due to 125mhz idle instead of 250mhz idle. Love the phone..
It sure as hell works damn fine now. More responsive and again bat life is now 1 1/2 days from 1/2 day with same apps running. Same as before, BT off, wifi never search manual only (but am connected almost full day at work), GSM mode etc.
Yes man its so responsive now with battery lasting 1 1/2 days due to idle being @ 125mhz instead of 250 stock. Even in my car i somtimes use it for mp3 so still when i get home its half . Before o/c 600/250 i had to charge it in the car or at work by end of the day. Even after updating to PR 1.2 i reflashed the old 930/125 emmc and everything is hunky dory. I've not noticed any heating at the back even though i have it encased in leather cover.

but only try if you have done flashing before few times and have no issues in losing data or bricking your phone. I messed up once but followed to the dot the instructions on how to flash your n900 in maemo.org forums.
I'm in Hawaii so it gets pretty warm too. I haven't noticed too much heat increase but I may flash to 850mhz and see what the difference it makes. I could never go back to 600mhz though. It's way too laggy.
@mistalake The phone works great. Just switched over to Titan's newest Maemo34 update. Running 500mhz min/850mhz max. Battery life is about the same or better.
you can install games like asphalt5 and many more via WebOS Games Manager (wgames) i think at extras repositories, then just download some nasty games on either .deb or .ipk format
Hey how hot does it get where you live? I live in southern California so it gets pretty warm in the summer, i'm not sure if i should opt for the 900mhz kernal or settle for the 800 mhz.
In the summer here it should be 80-100 degrees, think the phone can run fine in that heat?
@hugz2def i believe you can still oc to 900mhz, just dont push it too hard when you are outside. in my experience, the temp is stable even though its 30 degrees C
running at 850mhz ....if it tries i no longer care.....

I've seen this a few times, i have a n900 myself, and i'm still amazed
cause i usually don't use that many apps at once, but it's nice to see that i can do it if i wanted to

hey, great work!!!!!
but is there any way you can go back to 600 mhz ?
and are you finding any power draining issues where your battery runs out twice as fast?
im considering overclocking since mine is a little laggy and i want the iphone experience.
btw, i dont know if anyone has noticed, but the maemo version that comes out of the box is WAY smoother than the current one!

whoa? Hawaii.....and your running @900mhz sweet!
maybe i can still maintain my n900 OC'd to 1gz when i get back to the Philippines.
At first i did not notice anything change when i OC, but when i get back to the stock @600mhz, men! everything feels so slow!
