Why am I seeing a mention or argument with Ricki Gervais' name in every Coogan video?

Gervais had his half hour fame, nothing more. His standup is terribly unfunny along with the single one act he's dried out since the Office. Coogan has years of talent over him, has a shed load of material and originality, and wouldn't sell-out. I doubt Coogan would ever let America mockup their version of Partridge.
