You have a wonderful, very listenable, movingly honest voice, which I adored. Only two criscisms: one, the extra notes on the guitar didn't work in my opinion, and I missed the depth of having extra (preferably female) voices during the french section. Very nice version of a song I think it's tough to cover well, but you could make it really fantastic if you added in those extra voices.

This is one of my favourite songs and you did a fantastic job! Great voice and great guitar playing! I am french speaking so i noticed the accent when you sang the french part, but that is authentic and charming. You should make a living out of this!

I thought that this was an original Cohen song, but was written in 1943 by Emmanuel D'Astier de la Vigerie (called "Bernard" in the French Resistance) and Anna Marly.

That aside, this is utterly brilliant in an impromptu way. I love the guitar-playing, the cigarette wasting away (and the resultant smoke), the TV still on, the bad french and the great singing by someone from a land of partisans. Awesome, mate! Erin go bragh and vive la France!
