@jmanwild no thats the only reason a vp44 can't reach 1000hp+ , it can't flow enough fuel, any diesel that is going to be pushing more than 450hp+ is going to need a new lift pump, they make plenty of aftermarket lift pumps out there that can supply more than enough fuel to the injection pump, the highest hp vp44 on fuel only that i know of hit 891hp,if there are more out there, there aren't many, that is why you see so many guys go with a p-pump conversion, b/c the p7100 can flow so much fuel

vp44 has the capability to fuel for 11-1200 horsepower, its the lift pumps that are a problem

its a singel turbo set up and that was on fuel only
