  • Thanks for the informative review. Grain Science looks like a better synth for a beginner than something like Korg's iMS-20. The sound is wonderful and the extent you can re-shape sound is amazing. I've been enjoying all your videos, hope you keep them coming.

  • Thanks again!

  • i like your reviews . Nice job !!

  • Is the audio on this video in mono? I went over to soundcloud and listened to the demos there, and they are in lovely stereo. The audio here really doesn't do the thing justice.

  • @periurban Yes. I am in the middle of upgrading my recording rig. My mic has been upgraded to get rid of all the static and noise on all of my early videos, but I need some more money before I can get a new interface to also record the iPad in stereo.

  • Thanks for this. It seems like you can get a lot of atmospheric pad sounds out of this. So far this seems better for my needs than other Ipad Synths. I am not big into sound design. I just like really good presets so I can start composing right away without getting lost in tweaking sounds. I realise that probably sounds like heresy as these synths were designed to be tweaked to death but I have my hands full writing, arranging and recording songs and I dont have the time to create my own sounds.

  • @Stevethesearcher That is an understandable disposition, I'm sure there are many people who feel the same. The presets are fairly good, above average for iOS synths.
