  • jainkoen kirol ez balitz larriak kirol arte !!!!!

  • point system?

  • @alextoddskates like raquetball ball bounces once on court then u must catch or throw killshot. In american quinela matches their are 8 posts with first round countin as 1 pt then ..second round pts double till first team reaches 7 pts...or on a superfecta game 9 pts.. in Spain Partido's are played str8 pts to 15 or 30 or 35...

  • @livendie4jaiali ooh good looks bro

  • The guy at the start of the video was trying to do the Party Rock Anthem dance.

  • może być coś fajnego !

  • hi all. Here many people are talking about the Basques having no fucking idea. I am Basque, and play a sport like this called in Basque ERREMONTEA. Basque culture is one of the oldest in the world, and nobody knows where it comes. spanish and the French are trying to end the Basque Culture centuries and remain the same. despite that, we're still a small country That we survived. thank all of you who have read this comment. (SORRY MY BAD ENGLISH)

  • @minimalista242 - lol it is so now for us old timers who have followed the sport many yrs!!

  • The Basques were the 1st Europeans to play sports with balls....n have the biggest balls.............

  • @JorgeLorenzoSpain100 --lmao -- good one....no but u guys do have some of the best pelotari's in da world!!

  • @livendie4jaiali i was kiddin on the biggest balls but what i said about the basques bein the 1st europeans to play sports with balls is true like the thing swingin between my legs.My dad played in miami n my old woman hatched me there.

    usa usa! hehe

  • @livendie4jaiali no cricket was invented in the 1600s

  • @JorgeLorenzoSpain100 Y tenemos el mejor chacolí

  • The Spanish language is Basquified latin.

  • I think Tron borrowed the concept of this sport as old as it is it looks futuristic compared to other organized sports.

  • porq hay un viejo q baila como nenita

  • Its like the combination of squash and parkour, wicked cool!

  • my father luis irusta played professionally for 18 years he retired in 2003 in ft. pierce jai alai in florida because he blew his bicephe was 1 of the top 10 thowers in the world he grew up in a little town 15 minutes outside gernika named munitibar

  • I've never seen this before. It's like racketball, but instead of sucking, its pretty cool.

  • What's the song from 1:12 to 2:20?

  • it would be better to give some info and explain the rules, also the sound is terribly annoying.

  • @Mazurka1001 Like volleyball, the ball must be in constant motion. If a player's shot went off-court or was missed, point goes to the opposing team. More details follow, but I know you don't care.

  • ugh i want to try this sport...im a racquetball, squash, and lacrosse player...i think i would love the extreme version of all three...sooo specialized though :,(

  • si este joc estarà be o lo que digau

pero la pilota valenciana es millor

  • is better the fronton from mexico

  • which one??? i used too love acuypulco

  • @adriianzithoo no sera pelota paleta trinquete DE ARGENTINA!!!!!

  • The Basque country might legally be part of spain, and france, but we have our own government, culture, and language. We are as much our own counry as say, Puerto RIco, or Guam. Gorra Euskari!!!!

  • You might want to consider spelling "Gorra" the right way before anything else.. Gora Euskadi! Gora Gu ta Gutarrak!

  • Come on, smashingalana... 61 Hawgles is making a valid point and all you can come back with is pointing out a typo??

  • @61hawgles the basque are to proud of thier selves to say that they are a part of spain or france they are totally differnt though basque is the oldest language evr

  • @61hawgles anormal diciendo eso no querran venir a euskadi..tss que inutil cuando los vascos hemos hecho mas que nadie en formar españa...borroka enfermo.

  • Dont listen to the sick independentists...the Basques have done more than anybody to form Spain and most historic Spanish heros are Basques.

  • The Basque Country is not spain nor france!!

  • yes it is

  • @jarbilbo acctually it is but the basque are to proud to say it is i am basque

  • hmm i dont understand whats the goal? to nock the other player out?

  • It's scored in a similar fashion to racket-ball, except teams (usally 8 teams of two) rotate in after each point, with the winner of the previous point remaining to take on the new challengers. First team to 7 wins the match. There is also a 'place' and 'show', with the same meaning as horse-racing.

  • lol :)

  • think i could do it i play lacroose they seem really similar

  • Except this has a metal ball going over 100 mph.

  • I understand jai alai is quite a popular sport in southern Florida.

  • Waouw , i see a friend when i was young:

    KOMPA,I'm Alex from Belgium.

    Sois Alex de Belgica.

    Aupa chaval

  • This video is very well done. It is such a beautiful sport to watch...its a shame that the frontons have just about disappeared in the United States.

  • Anyone know where it can be played in England?? i really want to try this sport out but i live in london!

  • the strike and lotto were a big factor, otherwise not sure why?

  • Bonito video, hermosas tomas y fotografía.

  • Well done. Best jai-alai video I've seen. I'd like to see a high definition version of this. I think hd is the only way to make jai-alai work on TV.

  • Jai Alai won't be a marketable sport for TV. Not enough commercial breaks. :(

  • What's the average salary for a Jai-Alai player in the USA?

  • Back in 1997 my buddy was averaginf like 60-65k for full season, but now I am sure lil less unless playing the big 2 and gettin extra poker monies?>
