I wanted to write a screenplay for a musical and this just made me want to even more:)

I met Sorvino at `The Pennsylvania Anthracite Society dinner` (yes really!) abt 15 years ago at the Waldorf Astoria. That night he was playing rent a celeb at a cocktail party pre dinner and nobody wanted to talk to him. Standing in the room all 6ft 9 or whatever of him he looked like a bored lonely light house, so I took pity on him. Anyway after listening to him talk about himself for 20 mins or so I came to realise why people were avoiding him and made my excuses...

very cool, i really enjoyed this film a lot, good story, great amount of perfectly balanced satire and mood, it's too bad that it doesn't have the kind of following the rocky horror picture show gets, it honestly deserves all of that and more. what i really love is that it's a true musical, most musicals break song to develope character or story, this one actually follows along never EVER taking a break but rather composing the story THROUGH music. very intelligently done. love it

Paul Sorvino is amazing. He's one great actor and a wonderful singer. Glad that they have him as Rotti Largo, he adds some kind of classic flavor in the big mix that this movie is.

We need more movies like this. Musicals are for the stage where only a limited people can watch. But brought to the big screen for everyone to view is just awesome. I never knew I liked musicals until I saw this movie.
