I love that the show says, "They're not simple quarrels ..." and then totally glosses over all the complexity of the issues in the West Bank and Northern ireland. I'm a Catholic but I don't put down Protestants or Lutherans because as my grandmother said, it's all Christian. I don't put down Jews, Arabs, or Muslims. In fact, some of my college classmates were in that catagory and they were all nice people. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I will admit that I hate Atheists but not enough to want to use weapons against them.

I'm white and I went to a highschool where 2/3 of the students were black and some of them were my friends.

Gee, I didn't think of it that way... Maybe it was LAME how the villains often had no real motives (I always thought that it was a bit counter-productive to show kids that it's bad guys, not normal people, who do the most harm), but of course they're mostly allegorical, but the show had BALLS to air episodes about drugs, AIDS and gang violence.
