If I look at it he has two birds on the left... the left half is happy, positive and represents the natural "hopeful" part... on the right is the fire and the negative... well as it's a symetrical image it makes sense for the planes to be in place of birds... they are not directed towards the tower just in the sky.

You tell us that something already is here to be consumed and react with us is the wrong way to be?!I think is just one more arrogant way to think of us!I dont say that meditation is wrong but is just one more different rode to take, and humans that have awareness of this possibilities they have the right to choose there way to be!Nothing is wrong nether of these 2 ways!

@tzifly Good and bad as well as right wrong are on the same spectrum, its just how you view it. When you become identified with one end of the spectrum and label it "right" then you create the illusion of duality. Dont be offended by what AppDiggers is saying. He only means that anything that can be achieved through drugs can be reached through meditation. With drugs there is the substance and the body but in meditation it is only the body. Choose your path with awareness.

@AppDiggers that might be the right way for you. and from my experience, drugs and meditation take you to very different places and cause very different effects. I think meditation and that sort of techniques are very powerful and important, but not even closely remote to the impact of SOME entheogenic substances. Oh, and acid and lsd are the same thing btw. @AppDiggers there is no right way... meditation and psychedelic drugs have synergistic effects on the mind. there are people who have the desire to meditate after undergoing a psychedelic experience, but would never otherwise have had any interest.

Before political organized religion there was spirituality, shamanism interdimensional experience through our use of these enthogens. Most likely, these experiences are the fundaments of all religious concepts. Why put yoga and other diciplines up "against" the psychedelics? Why create a false dividing line? That sounds like new age nonsense to me.

i had a dream in 2000 i think...i dreamed that passanger jets were flying over the ocean into the usa....after that missiles followed in the blue sky. i felt it was something terrible. the sky was peacefull and the missiles were white/ american styled cruise missiles but there were flying back to the USA. i couldnt see what was happening behind the ocean but i feklt it was an attack....

Alex Grey is hands down one of the greatests artist of all time. i am an artist and have always felt that art was meant to be a form of communication as well. he has the great talent of being able to show us that the mind and soul transcend the flesh. that blows a pretty painting of flowers out of the water anytime.
