i loved it, best night at the camp sight, secured my tent, we all went on a mad one, running round, then when i got sick of the wind got into my tent and had the best night of sleep i had the week cos the wind kept the temperature down, and in the morning i didnt wake up doused in sweat
i was in tht campsite aswel, what a night:L luckily we used the guy ropes to tie our tents together and to the poles which held the white sheets up so we could hang our towels up to dry, think thats what saved our tents cos when we got back there was no damage at all to out tents :P one thing u wont need is pegs cos they dont go into the fuckin ground lol
having been to the festival 3 times previously and experienced nothing more than a slight breeze, the first thing I told the peeps I was with was "the last thing you need here is guy ropes".....I may avoid saying that in the future! still our tents survived and the refugee experience walking down to the stadium was a new one to chalk up. All in all, loved it!
you captured the moment of the crazyness it was a case of RUN to save your tent and everything else thank god for the rocks in the end they saved the day! WAYHAY for the rocks!
remember this - was off my brains at the time and the wind didnt help!
