I've got a 5.2 Madone. It's a couple of years old, now but I won't be changing it for a long time. When the day comes to buy another bike it'll be a Trek, best bike I've ever owned!

Had had a madone, good bike. But I just recently got my hands on a 2009 giant tcr advanced sl. I'll tell ya, I used to be a trek guy, not anymore, my giant rides and performs a trillion time better then my trek

It also depends on what components you are running on, and type of carbon they use.

I tend to realize that Trek over commercialize compared to any other company.

Lance Armstrong is a perfect athlete to commercialize their bikes. And trust me, it's working.

Don't get me wrong, I would definitely be satisfied with a Madone, it's just that if I had a choice, I would consider something else.

Felt, Cannondale, Pinerello, Colnago, Jamis, Bianchi and much more.

Yeah they all make good bikes for sure, Both my giant and trek are ultegra. my giant just feels more balanced and compliant then my trek. check out some pro reviews on bikes if your in the market., and Giant makes their own carbon, they control the whole process, so they can really tune a frame, i thought was pretty cool. Yeah Since Lance came about everyone got a Trek (me included) but i've discovered a better bike, much much better. GIANT!!

Comes down to pref. I prefer DH/FR bikes because I can rock the cool Fox shorts and not the queer Specialized tight ass body suit.

It sounds like a lot of sales pitch, but I own one and its all true. You really feel it in the ride. What a great and fast ride. No flex, all power goes to propel forward. Great ride.
