  • bad hit

  • Im sorry but I dont see how golfing can give you anything close to the amount of adrenalin you get while hunting.

  • American asshole. In the ass you this arrow !

  • i wish more company's made their stuff in mossy oak... its so much better than realtree... except for realtree's max 4

  • Super, that was a fantastic job! Makes me anxious for next season!

  • u would take out the part where it hits the deer in the slowmo.

  • Damn, my heart was pounding just watchin the vid!

  • so many REPLIES!!! wtf

  • thats when the lumenok comes in lol

  • @blunderbus21 Its the opposite, deer usually raise their tails if you miss, they keep them down if you hit them.

  • @nreff55 there is no such thing as a perfect neck shot. the only perfect shot is low behind the shoulder. shoot deer in the neck and you will find one out of ten- maybe.

  • @briargoatkilla ive shot deer PERFECTLY IN THE NECK! they always drop or it kills them especially when u have a broadhead that cuts 2 inches wide!

  • @jimmyboi09987 NECK?!?!?!?!?!

  • @briargoatkilla what are you talking about there are perfect neck shots. should u always aim there no but if you do hit deer in the neck there is a "perfect" place to hit them. and the deer hit in this place on their neck are found within 20 yards. the only time you dont find neck shot deer is if you only hit muscle

  • @Archerdude3- i get that alot. but the truth is most people out there are hunting spooky deer that can't be depended on to stand still enough to take a shot in the 2 or 3" wide neck kill zone. if it works for you great!(have my doubts) but we as archery hunters need to take every oppurtunity to show our quarry the respect of an ethical clean kill. i.e. take shots on still, relaxed deer, inside 40 yds. and aim at the kill zone with the least room for error! BEHIND THE FRONT SHOULDER! good huntin!

  • @briargoatkilla i dont aim for the neck just sayin not every shot is perfect. if one of my arrows goes off course and hits the neck there is a "perfect place" that i hope it goes.

  • he jerked a little mabey u hit him

  • MISSED!!!

  • i think he hit the neck and went through to the tree

  • ...fake

  • the shot looked like a miss to me but a deer on the ground doesnt lie

  • Why the breakaway from the shot @ 6:21? Odd they wouldn't show the hit.

  • @Lighteye67 i agree. thats messed up.

  • i thnk it is not fake because..both the deer he shot and the deer he had on the ground had a distinctive "white" forhead, and when he shot the deer it rn with it`s tail DOWN,not up...and the sound it makeswhen he shoots the deer(some people say it hit wood) the noise is probly when he hit the shoulder blade, and it looks like the arrow missed but i do think that the deer ran just fast enough for the arrrow to hit the shoulder blade

  • @blunderbus21 ,deer run with their tail down, kick real high,or run with their head down when they are hit..

  • this video is so afke you cold hear the arrow hit the wood, and the beams were way longer then the one on the ground

  • it hit him, if u watch it very slow, you can see the deer actually run into the moving arrow. he did in fact hit him

  • he had already found that deer...there's no way

  • nice vid... tall rack on buck!

    check out my bow vids.......

  • that deer jumped the string. big time.

  • gut shot.

  • no way in hell

  • u did not get him

  • fake

  • I missed a 12 point in Northern Ohio last year, I got out a 6 am and didn't see him til 5:30pm and it was very dim out at the time. I was pissed

  • This how you're suppose to hunt good hunting Man!

  • nice dude!

  • nice video

  • Well if you had tracer lighted nocks you will have seen the arrow then!!

  • Awesome video/buck.......did u age this buck....he looks to be 3 1/2 -4 1/2 yrs old?

  • Perfect shot right in the middle of his chest quartering to you great shot

  • i see where he got him like 5 inches past the shoulder blade. good shot but that thing could take it!

  • I'm new here, but would like to applaud you on this video. Good patience, while enjoying nature, and then nice shot and tracking. Any deer with bow is trophy. One question, I see a lot on these dissing hunters and hunting. Does that always happen? Why do they watch?

  • wow what a buck nice shot 14point dang good deer man

  • nice shot and deer

  • I've always admired the patience and skill it takes to be a successful bow hunter. Congrats on a fine buck.

  • its bowhunting every book is an awesome achivement

  • yeah it is

  • Thank you

abominableaussieman.. i could not have explained it better myself

  • great animal, congrats!

  • and get a faster bow?????until an arrow can break the sound barrier like a gun than speed has minimal advantage...quietness is the key...the best "improvement" in archery equipment...besides bows dont kill deer arrows and broadheads do....having arrows that weigh the exact same grain with broadheads is the most important thing.....a new bow will make minimal difference in your shooting....improving your form/technique is what will help you

  • first off everybody hunts differently...different people have different skill levels and use different weapons..its just personal preference......and those of you who think compound bows have had huge improvements lately the salesmen who work for the bow manufacturers thank you...the highest score shot at the Vegas Shoot, the Super Bowl of archery was shot in 1979....glad todays bows are so much better

  • have you ever been hunting?

  • no i think its cruel...

  • well if you havent been hunting you cant say its easy. Its anything but easy. When hunting deer you have to track, stalk and find the animal, find its feeding spots etc. This cant take days to find the deer. And with the cruelty, yes it would hurt being shot. But what you have to realize is that a quick death from a gunshot or bow wound is much faster and less painful than what they would face naturally. Continued---

  • They are either mauled to death by a predator, which is slow and painful or slowly die from a disease or starvation, then be mauled by predators. So 99% death by natural causes is ALLOT worse then a fast death from a skilled hunters gun or bow placement. And one other thing to think about, if man kind didn't hunt and tried to eat veggies millions of years ago in the stone age, we would not have evolved to what we are today. We would still be in the stone age, or extinct.

  • cuz ur gay

  • Raising hundreds or thousands of animals on factory farms is cruel. This man is going to take every bit of meat off this deer, the hide, everything and use it. Not to mention that the meat is MUCH healthier than farm raised meat.

  • Not to mention that the meat is MUCH healthier than farm raised meat.

    why?

  • its healthier cuz it aint gettin pumped full of hormones and its eating natural food and theres almost no fat in the meet theres fat on the skin bit not the meat

  • a deer needs LOTS of fat so survive idiot

  • yea but wat i was sayin is when you take a steak from a deer and compare it to a beef stake theres much less fat or grizzle in the meet nore on the outside but tht can be cut off

  • @DaleMcMutt Not to mention it lived it's whole life going wherever it pleased and doing whatever it pleased.

  • Lets not compare golf with bowkilling because its just that killing. Anyone can kill from a tree stand !

  • lets see you try to do it then its a hole lot harder than it looks

  • We call you guys bow-ambush now because its not 'hunting' LOL

  • Nice shot, although it wasn't quite in the vitals. The point is you got the deer. I shot 2 deer this year with my crossbow(I'm a paraplegic) and the first was right through the lungs, good frothy lung blood....never found him. The second was through the liver, dropped her immediately but she jumped up took off and dropped again, and got up again. It was a complete pass through and we had good blood for a long time and then she stopped bleeding....lost her. It makes me sick when it happens.

  • thats horrible poor deer, did you atleast wait two hours for the adrenaline to leave the animal, i mean i've shot a deer perfect neck shot, wait an hour and i spooked it, but it couldnt run far

  • Same deer. Good shot.

  • that was such a lucky shot it looked like he hit the deer front chest LUCKY SOT MAN!!!

  • it looked like he went about 6 inches in front of him. but, he has a deer. i dont know if he shot another deer and put it there cause it didnt look like he hit it to me.

  • No he took the deer out with the arrow he shot during the video. No way the deer would have ran out of there like that if he had missed. If you noticed the deer didn't raise its tail and it really took off running hard which are both signs of a good hit.

  • were the hell did hit hit him?? it sounded 2 me like he hit the tree

  • where did he hit it. somebody reply.

  • he aint wearin hunter orange....just thought id piont that out.

(and yea, im a girl and i hunt. get over it.)

  • its most likely just bow season so blaze is not required. good catch though

  • you dont need orange in some state. atleast when ur in ur stand. maybe on the way. but not when ur there...

  • this is worth 6 or 7 min of my time to watch this

  • i saw 2 does on saturday for the atnlerless hunt where i live (i gun hunted) i pulled up to shoot and hit the tree with my elbo! i was so mad. they were really nice size too

  • aw dude that would suck so hard

  • I had a 10 pointer walk out from behind a rock 20 feet infront of me, I raised my new rifle and realized my reddot battery had died.

  • man that would suck

i raised my shotgun at 2 does during the antlerless hunt and nicked the tree with my elbow...they booked it and i was really ticked

    good luck this season

  • that shit that happen to me I was out there for six hours

  • yea that sucks so much...hopefully ill have some luck next weekend for the youth hunt...its my last year to take this advantage so hopefully i can pull through

  • really he never saw it walk in? i saw it at 1:39 coming from right of screen walking towards left of screen!

  • he hit that deer in the front...the deer even had his tail down so he hit it....good job...the wind was blowing 2

  • I think you play with your putter to much!!!!!!!!!!! nice deer though

  • dude u shot in front of him!!!!!!

  • "I think golf has helped me become a better hunter because I am able to concentrate on what Im doing." Come on, if thats the case thanks to my wife for making me a great hunter. We know that hunting is an emotion, or we wouldnt do it, but you sound like a self-help tape.

  • lol

  • stfu about golf and if wud shut up u could actually hear tha deer and stop talkin like u no everything kus that was ur first buck o and ur bow sucks ass (very very slow)

  • AND, WHERE IS THE MONEY SHOT AT THE END?

  • Gosh will he stop talking about golf.

  • Include the shot placement in the slow mo next time goober. Looks like it hit just behind the top of the shoulder- you can see the arrow run off with the shoulder. Talk a bout ducking the string!! Nice

  • i wish my misses ended up with a dead deer. lol

  • You missed, unless the broadhead slit his throat!

  • Deer are killed on bows less then 35 pounds. Its all about placement. Instead of working on your strength work on your form and sharpening your broadheads.

  • You missed him... don't ya hear the arrow hitting a log or something. I bet your name is "Sally"...Sally.

  • looks like u missed like u shot right infront of him

  • woops didnt mean to send thouse all LOL

  • And Nice Shot!

  • Cant WAIT TO GET 40pounds or over so i can hunt with my dad im at 34pounds right now!

  • Nice shot! Good buck. Good luck.

  • very nice how much... 30 yards is a pretty far hit for an archer. nice buck:)

  • Nice Buck, and a nice shot. Good luck on future hunts.

  • if you dont like it dont watch it your organization is a waste of time made of people who should be working providing for theyre family and no you sit here and diss hunters when theyre providing for theyre family ... your a sorry excuse for a person without hunting killing of animals you wouldnt be here

god only helps to a certain extent he put animals here to provide us with food not to give us entertainment and yeah we use weapons because we cant run 70 miles an hour and sprint after ourprey

  • u hit him high i think.. they just dont alywyas fall...

  • that was a good hit

  • Sure is a good feeling... your first buck with a bow.

  • well it obviously hit him if hes crashed and dead on the ground

  • Actually, funny thing about that, the bible says that animals and vegetation were put on the Earth for us to use. It actually condones hunting. Sure, Christianity isn't the only religion out there, but it's a pretty major one.

  • This isn't hunting, this is tempting the deer to come to you, but it's more hunting than shooting it with a gun, a real hunted should go after the deer, learn to track and use an old composite bow, or use a knife, then your a real hunter.

  • "a real hunted" is supposed to be a real hunter, sorry for the typo.

  • do you hunt with a knife?

  • Nope, but thats because i don't hunt at all.

  • then honestly i dont think you should say what is and is not hunting. IMHO

  • " an old composite bow " that is the dumbest thing ive heard in a while. Do you drive a car made within the past 10 years? Do you use current technology? Ever tried a compound bow? sheesh.

  • what's wrong with old technology? Tons of people hunt with longbows. it doesn't get much older than that for humans.

  • Steve Jones is an awesome guy, great golfer and a good hunter. Finger injury a couple of years ago has hurt his golf. Won the 1996 US Open. Again, a good hunter. Knew him when I lived in Montana.

  • next time cut down on introduction time and improve video quality

  • hey caveman if he miss how do the deer die?

  • the deer probaly listen to your rambling and wanted to commit sucide.

  • Geeze you freakin PETA people post comments on every hunting video. Noone cares what you think. God put animals on this earth so we could eat them. It is not illegal, it is not unethical and we will continue you to do and be thankful for the oppurtunity. So please go find some videos of people eating salads and comment on them!

  • I'm sorry, but using modern weapons doesn't makes them "cowardly." Modern hunting tools are efficient and fast. Plus, you're using the term 'modern weapons' like it's a cheat. Things are only 'modern' because Humans chose to call the era so. If lions could talk, they would like for their prey to stand there. Killing them then becomes easy. Ease = efficiency = survival of the species.

Heard of snakes before? They strike fast, injecting venom and sallowing the still-alive prey.

  • You clearly don't know much about animals despite your 'love' for them. Predators hide so they can catch their prey easier, and get in closer (lions don't have bows). Most hunters don't laugh at the animal's pain, they're seen smiling because it was a good kill, they will be fed (yes, most hunters eat what they kill), and they're proud of it.

  • Just like people who comment on internet sites, hunters are not a monolithic homogenous community. While most subscribe and adhere to a code of ethics, there are always a few who do not. While the vast majority respect the laws of the state in which they hunt and the owners of the properties on which they hunt, not all do.

  • First off, your spelling is far more an affront to decent people than hunters. The tradition of hunting game stretches back into human history further than planting crops. Without hunting, none of us would still be here. Additionally, proper wildlife management is necessarily to manage game animals. WIthout hunting, many deer populations would breed themselves into starvation.

  • First of all, I'd like to know why are you searching up hunting videos if you're so against them?

Secondly, why do leopards have a camouflaging pattern? So the prey can't see them! It's perfectly normal for predators to hide!

3.) It's a one shot kill! A pack of wolves can cause multiple bites not all of which are at the vital areas. Which is more humane?

  • Dang man nice!

  • Nice deer. Thanks for posting.

  • Bad shot, your lucky you found him!

  • true that

  • you hit roodof the red nose raineer you hit like a pro

  • Thank you for posting all of your videos.

  • nice one man
